When I started learning blind a year ago and learned how to best memo, I was always amazed when they said 'visualize very vividly' and I never figured how to actually do that. I only ever see very blurry, not very detailed things. I can concentrat and fill them to an extend, but what I visualize is always very blurry,
Wow I would have never have guessed that you had that, especially considering that you do 11x11+ bld and I personally can’t do anything above 3x3 without using visual memo. I think that makes what you do way more impressive!

Considering myself as a person without aphantasia (probably), I think visual phantasia is quite like what you see in dreams - you more feel things rather then see them and some image comes slightly vivid as a consequence of that feeling, but it's not like "detailed image on the back of the eyelids" Probably it's true with other senses, so by forcing the feeling it's possible to imagine heat on a skin or fear of height or whatever, but it all feels the same way you would feel it in a dream
For the next no peeking you should do one of the fruit set. Like the Yanxin(I think?) lemon apple and bananas. Which are 3x3 shape mods and the banana is a 2x2x3

I can’t visual anything, if I close my eyes it’s only ever black.
