After living in Florida for many years and having ceiling fans in every room there, I can't imagine EVER having a home without ceiling fans in it.
Yes - Florida here also, fans are a must to circulate the AC air, it really does help make it feel cooler. We sure have had some hot days already, the past few weeks and no rain. I'm just north of Tampa.
Totally agree, I've lived in East Central Florida my whole life. But I never had ceiling fans in bedrooms until I was in my twenties. I can not do without a ceiling fan in all rooms now, I'd prefer a beautiful light fixture, oh well. We are certainly in for a very hot summer this year.
When we bought our home, it was 17 years old and didn’t have ceiling fans in any of the extra bedrooms. I was just like how have people been living like this?
Oh my goodness what great products!!! Thank you so much for sharing them! Your garage/work room looks so good! Our detached garage needs some love and what you have accomplished is right on par with what our needs are too! So thank you again 😊
I live in Texas and ceiling fans are a must
100%
That garage AC and fan will come in handy. I’m just north of Dallas and we are already so hot this year. 😩
Yes! I love Texas but oh my gosh it’s hot!
I know you are really going to enjoy those fans in your garage this summer. And your daughter will enjoy staying cooler too. 😊❤😊
I’ve been working in the garage this week and they have been a life saver!
I have the same problem with my garage-too hot to work on my projects!!! Thanks for these great product suggestions!
What great products! I am passing this information on to my son who needs new fans! Have a great week!
Thank you! You too!
Wow I love those fans!! TFS ❤ New York
Me too. My son is begging me to put one in his room now.
I’m battling the heat in my garage here in Savannah and just insulation my garage door with a do it yourself kit for $120 from Lowes that really helped. I have a bedroom above my garage that was getting really hot. 😊
That’s a great idea! Thanks
For some reason I haven’t been being notified when your videos come out. It’s been frustrating.
Check the insulation in the attic over your daughter’s bedroom. We found when we resided our 1938 house that the pink insulation in the walls had shrunk so we weren’t getting any benefit from it.

❤❤❤❤❤
OK, confused. You said the AC unit needs to vented to the outside but looks like you're attaching it to a vent for an interior wall; unless it's not really visible with the camera. I would think in the wall, for hot moist air would not be recommended.
The garage fan/light is very nice, a huge help for when you're in the garage. Too many bells & whistles for my taste but do like that it's slim, easy to install and looks like it works great.
I'm sure your daughter is thrilled with the new fan to match her new room!
It was an outside wall. You could see the sunlight streaming through.
Yes it’s an exterior wall. I probably should have said that in the video.
@@KelseyRomitoDIY - but was it vented all the way through, to the outside? It looks like it's just vented into the wall, unless it wasn't shown. I'm sure you did it correctly, you're pretty good at following through.
If you do not have Solar, that may be the next thing on the list. Maybe even sponsored? Stay cool. 😎
That would be pretty cool!
Where does that vent go? It looks like it’s going into your house is it?
I hope not because that means fumes from your car are going in your house. That’s not good
It vents straight outside.
