Very very informative video 👍👍 sir maine 1 month phle hi purchase kiye hain 2 plants aur abhi tk repot nahi kiye hain....bcoz mere mostly plant after repotting shock me chale jate hain.....isliye main drti hun..mere poinsettia plants me chhoti si net basket lagi hui hai....kia usko aise hi rahne den..usko hatate time root ball to disturb hogi na...... Plzz help and right suggestions....
agar paudha achee se grow kar raha hai toh use abhi ese hi grow hone dijiye... jab season over hota hai uske baad hi repotting kare, mostly during monsoon season..
aur agar root bound ho raha hai paudha toh aap repotting kar sakte hain, lekin dhyan rakhe root ball bilkul bhi disturb na ho.
Maine bhi report kiya aur sarei green leaves gir gaye hain sirf red leaves hain....kya meri plant mar jayegi?

Hello sir, I purchased one mi th back. The plant was beautiful. Now it's leaves are falling down red and green . I have kept it in my garden only light comes no direct sunlight comes. Watering also I do after 2 days. But still I am unaware why it happened. Pllz guide me.

Yes it can be placed indoors where it receives good light.. just make sure that, poinsettia likes dark environment for long periods, so for half a day you must keep it in good light and for the rest time keep it in in dark place

I purchased two pointsetia plant 15 days ago and repot it into bigger pot, one plant is doing well but one and two leaf of other plant is fell down daily? What can I do to save the plant?
it's in repotting shock... it will take some time to get stable, till then keep it in shade with little morning sunlight, keep the soil moist not damp, it will be okay in few days

poinsettia thrives in cold and dark places, keep it in morning sunlight for at least 2 hours, and don't overwater it, just keep the soil moist

I bought this plant from nursery 2 weeks ago and gradually the red leaves started to look like they are burnt and started to fall and also there were lot of insects below the lower leaves..mene neem spray kiya tha..I could see the nodes having new growth but it is not growing at all.the new growth spots are turning black .pls suggest..
Have you repotted it? Falling of leaves can be due to lot of other factors.. like not getting enough water or getting excess water, sudden climate change can also cause leaves to fall down..
Keep it in good light where it receives good sunlight, water only when the soil feels dry to touch...
And for insects, regularly wash the leaves with running water and keep changing the plant location.. hope it helps
@@DailyGardening2020 no repotting..I do keep changing its place and i have kept it indoors near the window when there is no direct sunlight.i do wash it's leaves with water spray and this has reduced the insects.. I am confused about sunlight and water.. whether it requires proper sunlight or low light? Also if it can sustain under watering?? The plant seems to alive but the new growth is not coming up
@@nehalpatil7551 it can be placed in full sunlight, as it's winter sun is not that harsh, so a good 2-3 hours of mornings sunlight is good for it

Not the right time... Let it grow as it is.. repot after the season ends
If you want to repot it, do it carefully without disturbing the root bowl

It is in repotting shock.. keep it in shade till it revives.. keep the soil moist...
This is not the right time to repot the plant and if repotting, root ball should not be disturbed

My plant is affected with white insect , it is died in one day
must be white flies, they lay eggs on the underside of the leaves, regularly wash the leaves with water to remove the white flies and their eggs till its completely gone
I disagree with ur comments regarding sunlight n darkness. Contrary to this, my 2 year old poinsettia remains under direct sun about 7 hours yet it is healthy n flowering. No darkness is required.
Darkening is a natural phenomenon. During winter season darkness period automatically increases as days tends to get shorter this is the condition due to which poinsettia leaves turns to red colour also the procedure mentioned in the video is when you have transplanted your plant to a bigger pot and the plant has shed it's leaves then to attain full bloom it will require your attention, care & proper conditions.
