Unfortunately no, however you can buy a remote control for Sony cameras. I also think you can get a remote for cellphones too.
I heard the material is not worth the price. Is it true?
It is made of plastic but I like it because it is not heavy. In my opinion, the build quality is good. The one thing I really like besides the light quality is the built-in battery, it makes my workflow much easier.
