  • Memoria Press offers curriculum, support, and structure in education. But how does our method compare to the countless other ways of educating your child?
This week's Classical Et Cetera aims to compare Memoria Press curriculum to the many modern systems of education. How are we different than other homeschool curriculum providers? What sets us apart from the American brick-and-mortar school system?
We discuss the many complexities of homeschooling and the personalized attention it offers, what's wrong with today's public schools in America (and how to reform them), and how Memoria Press offers a structured curriculum and hands-on support for parents. Homeschooling, much like gardening, requires patience and long-term vision. Let us help you with your child's educational growth!

The teachers I hated at the beginning of the school year because they were too hard ended up being the ones I learned the most from and still think about 20+ years later. The ones that didn't care, I put zero effort into those classes. That structure and rigor makes a world of a difference.

The same is true with coaches. In sports the coaches that were hard, were the ones that truly cared. They were the ones that I wanted to hear "good job" from the most, not the flattering/babying type, but the ones who really meant it when they said it. They were the ones that will have hundreds, if not thousands of their former players show up to their funeral.

Thank you for this episode! I used MP with my oldest up until 2nd grade. In that time I had three more little ones and one with medical needs. I was so overwhelmed I thought I needed a less structured program and jumped ship and scrambled through MANY curricula. Today my oldest is in 5th grade and I basically had a breakdown from the lack of structure and put my oldest in school (private Catholic). What they read for “literature” is appalling and the other subjects are no better. Long story short, my husband and I were talking and we realized the most our children have ever learned was when we used MP and had the STRUCTURE of MP. Next year we will be using MP. Thank you so much for all that you do!

Love MP, we’ve been using it our entire homeschooling career (6 years) and I feel like I’m the only one of my homeschool mom friends who hasn’t strayed in my curriculum choice. I’ve been at peace the entire time ❤

We switched over to Memoria Press this year. We are 5 weeks into our homeschool year and my kids are loving the structure! I couldn’t agree more with everything that was said in this video! Paul would love the title of the book you mentioned (Miss Pearl?). I believe that would be a great lesson to share. Thank you!

I just love the support of homeschooling. I’m a former public school teacher now homeschooling my grandchildren. Parents you can do this!

I'm so excited that you are reading 'The Chosen'. I am reading it right now for book club for the kids. Would love to hear a podcast on this book.
