The best thing about the Disgaea games is that the stories are so far apart from one another, but the core of the game stays the same for the most part, In fact NIS does that with a lot of sequels they do, they don't fix what isn't broken, and they add new things with out changing old things, Sure they added the Mana system after Disgaea two but the basic principles of it lving up your weapons stays the same. It's amazing really, other game companies can learn alot for Disgaea

But the issue is...i've never really played any of the games...I would if i could but i literately have no budget and no time anymore to play all of them, so that's why im begging here. If anyone could be so generous to give me a simple explanation of the story line to disgaea (most preferably, the one Following Overlord Zetta ,since hes one of the characters in it) and some story lines to a few of the characters like Celestia, the other Overlords, What the prinnies ARE and do, etc. It would be greatly appreciated. I'm going to speak my complete honest OPINION here. I HATE when characters get "gender bent"! I feel like all it does is just flatten a characters qualites and makes them sex symbols. Not saying I have anything against PEOPLE who change genders, but seeing this happen to a character like Laharl makes me feel uncomfortable (not to mention Laharl was pretty much a LITTLE BOY!!). This is personally the most unpleasing thing NIS has ever done. I'm sorry, it just gets under my skin for some reason. I'm off my soap box now. I still love NIS.

Main Laharl's voice is annoying. Its the same person who does the voice for Naota Nandabe from Fooly Cooly, but this voice is much more annoying than Naota's.
Honestly can't say that it's too crazy. They say lavender oil is linked to gynecomastia (i.e. man boobs). Considering that these flowers are supernatural, it could pretty much be lavender on steroids wrapped in steroids. But chances are, the flowers are just disrupting the balance and whatnot.
I detest Etna's brattiness she will never be as good as some female characters. Don't get me wrong Etna has good fighting abilities but every thing else is royally irritating.
I don't like Enta she is a brat simple as your empty insult means nothing plus its freedom of speech if you don't like some thing express it you like her fine. Barbara Goodson still voiced Laharl, though. Despite I like her Voicing Laharl; she sounded off in some parts.
