I absolutely agree! Made right before her death, like she knew. Whitney would be proud of Dylans rendition. When he said this was for his mom that passed on, I fell out crying. Bravo Dylan!
This is definitely one of the most special moments in the history of The Voice. I say this as a die-hard fan of the show since the beginning and the only show I watch. Every coach was emotional. John was trying so hard to hold back his emotions, but he couldn't do it. That's the first time I've seen tears running down his face. You can't watch this without tearing up. Congrats Dylan!! You made your momma proud. I would love to see you on Reba's team. I got the feeling that you would make her day if you chose her. But any coach would be lucky to have you! Looking forward to watching on Monday!
The first note out of this guy’s mouth gave me chills. And to see Reba lose it like that, you know it touched her. All of them, but her especially. I hope she gets to be his coach, and I hope they win.

This was a phenomenal performance. I am a 30 Year Professional Vocal Coach that has coached students on THE VOICE, AMERICAN IDOL & BROADWAY and the goal of any performer is first and foremost to tell a story, invoke emotions from the listeners, create moments in the song and communicate a message. Dylan did all 4. What you will remember most from any song that you have ever loved is not the vocal technique of the singer although this will be obvious and stand out...but it is the remembrance of how the song made you feel, the message that was communicated and how the song related to you at that time. In addition, the man has a powerful beautiful voice that over time will continue to get better with experience and coaching. Try singing on live TV in front of thousands and see if you don't have any nerves or if your vocals are perfect. Not even veterans have perfect performances BECAUSE GUESS WHAT?...THEY ARE HUMAN not robots. I tell my students...if you don't have nerves and some anxious feelings...then you simply don't care enough. Because when you care about your performance you feel every bit of it before you hit that stage. BRILLIANT JOB DYLAN. I AM A FAN SIR! YOU ARE GOING PLACES! Dylan...YOUR MOM WOULD BE SO PROUD!
