Hi, I’m here a little later, like 6 months later, but I think it’s really cool when they all looked up that the telephone wires looked like stage curtains!
Oh this is INCREDIBLE. I can't believe how good this is. You've done an amazing job of selling how incredibly unsettling this scene would be from Paul's perspective in a way the original material couldn't. The sheer number of people dancing and singing along, as well as more people constantly joining seemingly out of nowhere, even when Paul thinks he's gotten out of the "event" it continues, culminating in stopping all traffic at an intersection, really sells just how massive and terrifying the hivemind really is, and serves beautifully to convey the sense that this isn't an ordinary flashmob and something is very wrong. Incredible job.
I didn't watch any trailers, only some of the "Cup of Roasted Coffee" scene. I just saw this because it was made by the same people who brought us "Tiger F**ker." I had no idea this was a cosmic horror musical and that made the reveal ten times better. I made sure when introducing my brother to this masterpiece to only show him the "What Do You Want, Paul?" scene so that he'd have a similar experience.
