one thing you didn't mention about the 30 minutes or less is that a lot of franchises took the "free" pizza out of the driver's paychecks, which is why they cared so much to get the food there on time

As someone who nearly died from an allergic reaction to Domino’s pizza, and then was refused a list of an ingredients from our local Domino’s to see if we could identify what I was allergic to, I’m not avoiding the Noid, I’m avoiding them.

What astonishes me more than anything is how Pizza Hut never landed up employing their own delivery program.

What astonishes me is how many of the pizza hut "locations" survive despite how many of the pizza huts closed. That must be some solid construction. They should sell literal pizza huts!

In Romania they do not collaborate with any food delivery apps, but they do have their own scooters to deliver pizzas
@@Lynxdoc I remember as a kid Pizza Huts as proper restaurants. They had salad bars in them even. Nowadays they don’t even compare if you even find them in restaurant form. Most of them now are just take out holes like Dominoes without the delivery service.

I can confirm the KFC chicken shortages were in fact a thing in the UK, I remember hearing that exact ‘I had to go to burger king’ 1000 times over that week because it was a story on the news for THAT WHOLE WEEK because the police were being stalled at KFCs as multiple fights were breaking out at car parks and stuff.

I had to dress as the Noid for a county fair once. One of the worst experiences of my life...

(I was 130 at the time) straining my back, which had been passed from store to store so it reeked of numerous sweaty employees previously suffering through the same, in the middle of August with little kids beating on me and teenagers acting... like teenagers, for two hours.

Genuinely glad to see this vid, b/c I saw the Noid on a dominos delivery car yesterday and audibly wondered if I’d time-slipped into the 80s
I briefly worked at domino's in the early 90's.. One of my tasks there was dressing up in a 6 ft tall Noid costume and dance around on the side of the road. It really sucked.
One interesting thing about working there was a poster in the breakroom that gave actual lore for the Noid.. It stated that gremlins have plagued mankind since the dawn of time and as time and technology progressed, various gremlins would specialize in messing with various things, like airplanes, cars, etc. Then one day, a "renegade gremlin" named the Noid, decided to take specialization a step further by causing mayhem for pizza delivery, and was highly successful at it, until he went up against his arch nemesis, Domino's.
It was a professionally made poster that was provided to the store by Domino's, so I figure it's official Noid canon, but I've never seen a copy of it online, nor have I seen anything anywhere on the internet that states this lore.. It's weird.

been an Domino's driver for 10 years and it interesting to see this some parts I noticed with the online tracker but didn't see the other probably because my store wasn't a corporate store and the owner has over 7 locations so we weren’t effective by the bad news.

It's crazy that Domino's got backlash for what happened with The Noid the first time, it wasn't really their fault that time

I want to know how the Noid can be blamed for why my area will never have a Domino's ever again.
An employee added something to a particular sauce to a customer's pizza. I don't remember if it was in retaliation or umm... appreciation?, but it was all over the local news (mid MI in the 90s). The location never recovered and eventually shuddered its doors.
I think even the Noid is gonna avoid that one. 😂

I work at a domino’s in Australia. Over her we do “20 minute guarantee” which is where if the pizza isn’t at your door in 20 mins, it’s guaranteed to be free
This guarantee is used in quite a lot of local pizzerias like "DoDo pizza" in Russia

When I was little my dad worked for domino's so sometimes my mom and I would eat dinner with him and there was a noid pinball machine in the corner of the restaurant. It was pretty fun to play but I always lost, plus he was terrifying for seven year old me

I also love how the 30 minutes or its free thing with Domino's got featured as parodies in various tv shows. Only example i can think of off the top of my head was the "Hey Pizza!" Episode from Teen Titans Go. One of the few good episodes imo. Beast Boy and Cyborg challenge themselves to stopping the pizza guy before he gets there in under 30 minutes. Only to end up destroying the restaurant and still fail.
As a dominos employee and a long time fan of these channels this theory caught my eye
