It is, but they are not strict if you are early or late.

The past is for the attractions within the national park. The boat ride is owned by an independent company. I agree it would be nice if they could work out a deal to make it all one price. I don't know anybody going to Niagara falls and not riding either though horn blower or the maid of the mist.

I was curious, was there any other restaurants that you guys would recommend? It is our 10 year anniversary and I know the sky tower looks really good but I was wondering if there’s anything more local that you would recommend? Sort of off the beaten path.
@@reneemellott8612 the skylon tower was the only fancy restaurant we ate at. However we did have a wonderful lunch at Queen Victoria Place restaurant. It is a nice place, simi-upscale restaurant with amazing views and great food. If you haven't already, check out the quick video we did there:

I'm trying to get my timing down. We want to do the pass with the 5 attractions. We will be there in June mid week. We're on a bus trip that will arrive around 4:30. Once we get checked in we hope to go right to Tablerock & get our passes & do Journey behind the falls before it closes. The next morning our group will do the boat ride around 10 am. We hope to be able to get a WEGO up to the Areocar right after we get done. Next we'd do the Whitewater walk & then head back to Tablerock for the power plant tour & Niagara's Fury. Doable? How much time will we need for each?
Yes, it most certainly is doable. How long you take it each attraction really depends on how interesting you find each one and how much time you want to spend. However try not to get too tied up and planning it down to the minute. In our experience you can be early or late to your schedule attractions and they'll still let you in. The Wego bus runs regularly and is and efficient way to get up and down the strip. The boat ride takes about an hour, the arrow car is probably only 30 minutes. The whitewater walk was better than we expected, I would schedule a least an hour for that. The power plant was also extremely interesting. I could have spent all day just at the power plant. But we had to keep it moving. Schedule at least 2 hours for the power plant. Niagara s fury is pretty quick. Less than an hour. Give yourself 30 minutes in between each attraction. Maybe an hour between the cable car because it is so much further away. It's going to be a long day and you'll need to keep it moving. But yes it's absolutely doable. Enjoy your trip!
We are considering a trip there in Sept. We will be coming from California. We want to stay on Canadian side. What is the best airport to fly into and what hotel do you recommend?
I'm sure you'll have a great time! We found it easiest and cheapest to fly into Toronto. It's only about an hour away. From there you can take either via rail, go rail, or an Uber. As for hotels. The two with the best views of the falls are embassy suites and the Marriott. It's been a long time since I've stayed at the Marriott, but I remember it being really nice. We stayed at the embassy suites on this trip and did a video on it, it was nice but they also tried to upsell us to a more expensive room using less than ethical sales tactics. Just be aware that you might get upsold on check in. Do your research on the room before you go and stick to your decision.

We took an Uber from Toronto to Niagara Falls and then took the train back. We utilized a few Ubers while we in the city but I don’t recall seeing any “city buses” that weren’t WeGo.

What was your experience of crossing the US-Canada border?
Flying in was no problem at all. We just went straight through customs, submitted our paperwork and they waved us through. I don't think they even stopped us to question us at all. However I have driven across in the past. The two times that I have crossed by car or much different. When crossing by car I was asked a bunch of questions by both Canadian and US customs, and even searched. As with anything with customs, I think it will depend on each individual and when and how you cross. But at least in my opinion flying in is much easier than driving.
Is it cheaper or the same price to get the passes online verse the visitor center?
I think it was the same price.
Folks think seriously about what the Ontario Govt is charging you for? A Hydro station that you can simply watch a video on that other tourists paid for. A walk down a govt tunnel is $28 for the Power Station and Tunnel? Think about it. Wouldnt you really want to spend that on Food or that horrid parking they have already gouged you for? Its a worst tourist trap now. Walk the Niagara Glen Center area for free. Get some exercise. Turn NFalls into a National Park and not a Tourist gouge trap. Peace.
I understand where you coming from. There is a lot about Niagara falls that is very overtoristy and money grabbing. If you're looking for nature, I'm sure there are a million places that are much more serene and infinitely more beautiful. But on the other hand, Niagara falls is popular for a reason. It's truly one of the natural wonders of the world, and there's nowhere else quite like it.

@@sheenasiddique2307 Yes, WEGO bus and the incline are both included for 48 hours in your pass. Also once you buy the pass online you can use the pass redemption barcode for a one time ride to table rock to get your real pass. enjoy your trip.
When you purchase online did they convert to US Dollars?
My bank did the conversion. I would recommend you use a card that does not have foreign transaction fees.
