hoovie always says “It’s the cheapest _______ in the USA.” Wizard gets ahold of it, “It was the cheapest”
Tyler is the living embodiment of false economy.

well he going made alot of money....
He ent called wizard for nothing
"I forgot to tell you it was the cheapest 5000lbs strap in the USA".
Would have been a cracking gag from the Wizard as the engine was being moved.
Tyler: Brings over his newest “addition” to his garage

Well this must a first Tyler, the Aston just needs a service? No leaks, no broken pipes, no warning lights... 🤔
Well done sir she cannot be referred to as a hooptie 👍😂
One might say that, regardless of condition: all British cars are hoopties.

Hoovie will do the inevitable burnout/doughnut in the parking lot, and the dreaded Check Engine light will turn on. Mark my words...
2020 its a really rare year i have no idea how he bought a car that doesn't need repairs just simple mainteinance how that's possible? Its the end of the world?
Give it a couple of months...
Only when everything else is very very wrong does Hoovie get something right!😄
A sure sign we've entered the End Times.
Maybe this will pull us out of the darkest timeline
What .what why nothing wrong with it ???
Hoovie displays his extensive mechanical skills keeping the engine straight. ASE certified for sure.
Joebiz24 is the wizard ASE certified?

Having Wizard on the video, with all his knowledge and calm, makes the watching experience much more compelling..thanks..
The looks of that Rapide make up for all its flaws in my opinion.
Erik Åhlander it’s only real flaw is the horrible backseat space for a ‘family car’
Erik Åhlander of which there are apparently few
What flaws? It's perfect!
@@mattevans4377 The automatic transmission in those years when Aston Martin was owned by Ford were awful. That is why many owners of Aston's paid the big money to have their's changed to manual transmissions. It cost close to 40,000 dollars to have it changed but anyone that can afford to buy an Aston Martin can afford to pay to change the transmission.
@@tjk9263 I was joking. Sort of. Let me put it this way. Alfa Romeo's of old, fell apart like no-one's business. But, for 5 minutes a year, they were perfection, when everything worked right. Aston Martin is like that. Terrible, but also, perfect.
Perfect family car? Meanwhile your Previa is in tears!
Does he even still have it?
Dang that Rapide is gorgeous
"That way, the leaks don't collect!" I about fell out of my chair laughing! Love the Wizard! Always enjoy your show!
There’s a beautiful Lotus Evora in the back❤️❤️❤️
Hiya Hoovie I remember when I was 8 years of age I was in an Aston Martin the same one as Lord Brett Sinclair drove in the persuaders. There was 5 people in it and it still went like a rocket this was on the m23 in the Uk I would never forget what an experience. Hope you and your family keep safe and well all the best V 😃😃😃😃🙏🏼🇺🇸🇬🇧
I suspect that when the Wizard says "I enjoyed it" what he is saying is that the repair cost meter was spinning wildly.
I'm watching for years, but never subscribed. I always said: The day he gets a flawless car, I'll subscribe to his channel. So, here we go!

I would definitely be going through forums and what not to find out what all the common engine problems are on these things and doing all that while it is out.
Hoovie keeping the Car Wizard employed during the uncertain times
The Rapide is one of the best looking sedans ever made. Aston did a fantastic job bringing their classic styling to the platform.
I seriously have been looking at Rapides for 5 years. I was nervous of Aston Martins reliability. I want one now for sure!
I feel for you Tyler. Seems like this may be the 1st engine pull that you've physically been at. I've seen and performed many engine pulls/swaps. If you thought that it coming out was scary, just wait till it is going back in.
lol yeah the taking apart stuff is always easier than the putting together stuff xD
The scariest part of any engine removal and refitting is ALWAYS hitting the key the first time.
You can tell how much more comfortable Wizard is on camera. I remember the 1st videos where he looked like a deer in headlights. Love his channel too!
I love how close the Wizard and Tyler are
Hoovie does SIMPLE VIDEOS. I love THIS about him.
2:07 Wizard: Its like the perfect family car!
Audi RS6: Am I a joke to you?!
Yeah I was thinking the Rapide had good competition with the Ferrari FF and Audi RS7.
That Lambo's clutch looked like it was in a fire!
That's how it is with super performance cars, you never know what the previous owner was up to.
When Ferruccio Lamborghini started out driving those sports touring cars of which he had many, one of which was a Ferrari 250 he discovered that this one and others were burning out clutches for a pastime, after several replacement clutches he brought his displeasure to Enzo Ferrari's attention but to no avail, so Lamborghini suggested that their own company go down the route of building a touring Sports car, using even some of their already proved tractor parts and moreover insisted that their Tractor clutches be put into same to do away with that weak link ... with that did was to came with a robust and reliable Sports tourer, leading to a lot of sales of same.

I don’t like a lot of YT videos. But I always like all of Hoovies because I want to feel like I’m helping him get closer to break even , instead of completely wasting money on them lol
Last time I was this early Hoovie didnt have a baby!
So probably never? Hoovie has 2 children, Liam and I don't remember what his daughter's name is EDIT: It's Ellie
So glad that Hoovie didn't get screwed on the Austin. Just goes to show that every dog has his day!

IKR??? If Hoovie helped, I HELPED!!!!! LOL
That broom's not going to hold itself. Good job Broom Boy!

I'd rather hold the $40,000 engine myself instead of trusting the $9 an hour broom guy 😂
That's Junior Mint
More than a month in confinment here, I don't even know what day it is... But Tyler is always here to cheer us up, that's great !
Should have sat on that V12 and swung around singing "I came in like a wrecking ball!"

Someone tell Wizard he misinterpreted the term "engine mount"
The "Lamborghini" skit is sooo great. I'm going through a difficult time after losing my Mom and this makes me laugh, thank you Hoovie and Car Wizard!!
The car wizard video was hilarious, great video for laughs during quarantine lol

When it comes to wheels on exotic cars I gotta say I’d for sure look into Vossen Forged, their wheels are amazing
Perfect if all you want to do is waste money and sound like a tit every time you mention how much you spent on them.
The Aston needing virtually nothing has been the only good news of 2020. A tip of the hat to Tyler.
'It's absolutely perfect.'
Famous last words 😂
E-gear valve screws always need to be tightened before putting everything back together. They back out naturally. Will cause the transmission to go into neutral. FYI. Big fan.
I'm sure Wizard knows that, lol.
Matt Evans I’m sure he does 100%. Wish I had a Lamborghini to take to him. So hard to find honest mechanics that take their time.

I can never get over the structure of the Murcielago (check that spelling Hoovie!). It looks like makeshift kit car under the body panels. That's Lambo pre-Audi for you.
Looks like any used car with panels off. And Murch isn't pre-Audi
This week on Hoovie's garage: The wizard loosens up the Lambo, Hoovie clenches :-)
So, it's really a Ford?
The windows drop down to avoid them shattering when you slam the doors.
:0)
The Wizard is a mechanic, but he's also a car enthusiast. Seeing him getting so happy with a car is all very wholesome. I know other UA-camr mechanics that would just talk crap about that car and tell you to get a used Toyota Celica or something...
"its extremely long" - the car wizard
Duhsmersh Well it was wasnt it?
Duhsmersh 🤣
7:04 "Humpin' the tiger" - Car Wizard
I love how the wizard hates it mechanically but appreciate the luxury and detail of the car
The world is officially broken. No more school, can’t go outside, and now Tyler bought a NOT BROKEN car. I think the universe is ending.
Only 5 minutes of the Aston? We wanna see more. So much car for the money I love it!
Ya never know what to expect when the caption reads "Uh Oh " & then you see the back end of the Wizard!! Yikes! Butt it turns out that the Rapide is in pretty good shape. It's a good day!!

Imagine going to work every day to build Aston martins. You work your ass off and are very proud of your work. Then one of your cars gets bought by a UA-cam personality and you think you’ll finally get your name out there.... then the UA-camr proceeds to call you burn hard and chuckles at your name. RIP
Cheers to the British Ford Taurus. Smart move on the Wizard’s part disconnecting the transmission from the motor on the Mircuelago 👍
That scared me. Thats a lot of money hanging there.
a normal car seatbelt would have lifted this engine as well. no worries !
@@st_us not saying the nylon wont hold. Just that sliding and falling would be very bad.
@@cayman9873 I was about to say drop the engine, say fuck it and LS swap it lol
Chief engineer of AM at the time the V12 came out said, that it is not two V6's mated 2gether tho it shares some of it's architecture with the European Ford Mondeo V6.
Marrku, you are absolutely correct! Most non-Aston people keep rattling off this ridiculous line about the V12 being two Duratec V6s, Taurus V6s, etc., being welded together. What an absolute lack of proper research! I got to listen to Ian Callum last September along with other members of the design team for the DB7 which was the first car to carry the V12. What an amazing engine! And no, it is not what everyone claims. The design came from the concept of two duratecs, in theory, but was a completely new engine. Also, using Motor-craft alternator and other things is nothing new in the exotic car world. Companies use other parts-bin stuff all the time. This has been going on for decades! The Aston Martin DB4 and DB5 used a Karmann (made by Hella) boot/trunk latch and light, among other things...
How exactly did Hoovie "help" get that engine out?
He was present and did not cause delays or damages.
Stayed out of his way.
If you ever get rid of this car ever, it'll be the silliest thing you have done. Hang on to this car, what a beauty man!
Tyler bought a car that doesn’t need major work? Only a tune up...
*VISIBLE CONFUSION*
The reason for all the holes on the floor of the Aston is for cooling. That's all. Cars can still get a lot of air up through the floor, although now it seems that a flat bottom is preferable to get less drag.
Impressive V12 engine in the Lambo. And what a shock to see the engine bay so empty yet it still has a gearbox fitted!
6:30 I hope the wizard didn't mount the engine with these zip ties
Noah Noah
It was the first thing I was thinking..
Hope those zip ties are OEM!!

Ford modular V-12, I remember the Ford GT 90 concept had the same thing. Two V-6's Bolted together.
It's amazing how fast people click on these videos. I clicked "LIKE" when it was 100 and made it 101 likes. Immediately I refreshed the page (it took one second) and that fast there was 207 LIKES!!!!!
i think it's a bit more complicated than that. youtube don't refresh it's view counts and likes every second. it just changed as you refreshed. also, it's hardly amazing. most people are on lock-down, so youtube in general is seeing way more traffic.
