Great video Ben! Got your book too, which is beautiful and informative! Could you spell that grass you talk about here? Sounds like Cytoscramma....Thanks in advance. Jeff
Where did you et the map at minute 6 showing the extent of grasslands. I'm especially interested that this map shows prairie in Ohio stretching back into East central Indiana where I live.
I'm stopping the video at 8:15 and will not finish it. You've spent the first five minutes preaching to your assembled choir why they should do something they've largely come to you to find out how to do. In other words, WE GET IT! Stop bashing us over the head with it. And stop being such a pessimist for crissakes. (My kid will see a few worms and robins...) And you finally said it yourself: "We know these things. That's why we're here."
Although most of us already know these things and why we want to plant native, not everyone does. It was intros in webinars like these that got me hooked on native gardening. I find them annoying now, but I remember that at one point I didn't care at all about this stuff.
Lots of really useful content, and I'm _still_ going to buy the book 😉
Wondering how helpful the book would be for mountain high desert (16d Idaho Mountains ecoregion)
