Missy, scorpions don't like Lavender. In some places in the world they keep lavender blocks in their window to keep them away. It smells good and hopefully it keeps them off your couch and out of your home!!
Since his crib is taller in the back, flip it around. You should be able to get him in and out on the sides. I had to do this with my son and it helped a ton!! He slept in his crib until he was almost 3.

I am honestly in love with the way Finn and Ollie interact. Ollie is only four yet he's such an amazing big brother. He's so soft and gentle with Finn, plays with him, hugs him and comforts him ("I'll miss you Finn"). It's soooooo beautiful
Finn may be done with naps. Sometimes kids end naps early. Try to go a day with out a nap and see how FINN does. If he ends up falling asleep on the carpet in a room, then he still needs naps. If, not, the bed time maybe easier because he'll be willing to go to bed because he never took a nap and he'll be exhausted.

I think it's a sign he's sick of the crib and is watching how Ollie is sleeping and wants to be big boy, if Finny wasn't really for a toddler bed he wouldn't be climbing out of his crib

Hopefully Bryan is feeling better or at least feeling a little better everyday!!! I've seen people sew a small piece of fabric between the two legs on their kid's onesie. It is really simple and it will prevent Fin from lifting his leg over the guard.
My son is is just 2 months younger than Fin and we put him to bed at 6:30pm. That way my husband and I have time to relax together and get cleaning or anything else done we need. I'm usually in bed by midnight also! Haha. Then my son wakes up at 6:30-7am and takes a nap from 12:30-2:30. We had to sleep train him to be a good sleeper, it was not easy and hurt my heart so much. But he finally is awesome at it and is so happy all the time! The days he skips a nap, he's a mess haha. He's climbing everything, but so far doesn't attempt to climb out of his crib. I'd say just switch to toddler bed! Fin seems ready!!
I notice that Finn often takes a good nap when he settles down to watch a movie in the playroom. You could set him up with a movie around the time he would usually take his nap & he will fall asleep no fuss. But he is ready for a big boy bed. Putting him in a bunk bed in the same room as Ollie would help him to learn that at bed time we stay in bed. And Ollie will be the "big boy" who will show him how we stay in bed. It makes it desirable for Ollie when he's showing Finn how to do something well.

2 is the age most of mine stopped napping . It made for a much smoother bed time to! just need to make sure you keep them awake the first week of no naps until actual bed time and out of a car since usually they will pass out in there ... 7pm might be a good new bedtime once you go no naps for him ! In addition to essential oils being great for your health, peppermint oil is great for warding off insects, spiders, critters and possibly scorpions. Or there is a oil that can help if put around any doors, windows and openings that they could be getting in the house and keep them from wanting to get near. Research it some more. 👍
