I have that gas cap thing going on with my car right now, a 2009 Dodge Journey RT. I can't afford to pay someone to look at it and I don't know how to fix it myself. So I mostly ignore it. I also try to ignore the fact that it doesn't hold freon for more than a few hours, so I have no air conditioning, and our summer temps have been in the 90's so far. No money means you just live with it, pray, and hope nothing else breaks down. 💖🙏💖 I am glad you managed to get Marci's car fixed though. You really need it with the boys and all.💖💖💖
A flying video would be fantastic! I love that you and your Dad work so well together. The problem solving is great. You amaze me Crandall, you never give up. If you don't know how to do something you research and then follow through. You remind me so much of my brother. Unfortunately he passed several years ago. He did the same as you, never gave up, researched until he was sure of what to do then followed through. He would always say "Nothin to it." I watch many different video's, Iam a Survivor, all the Morrow Family videos, Arms Family, Keeping it Dutch and Eddy Family Farm and you are my top favorite. I look forward to your daily videos. Oh my gosh, my Hyundai does the whole shutting off thing when I'm putting in gas and it's throwing the gas cap code even after I put a new one on. Thanks, I'm going to show my son the end of this video.❤️😀

Yes to the flying video! And fyi: auto engineers/designers NEVER have to work on/repair the autos that they designed. It's SO obvious! Lol! My whole family are "shade tree" mechanics! We've saved TONS of money working on our own vehicles over the years! Love all your videos and your family!

Let's face it, Auto Manufacturers create this havoc by design. There's no way they want you to be able to work on it yourself. They haven't met the Eldredges!!❤
We have an appointment to get the fuel sensor replaced in a couple weeks. Of course it is in the gas tank, mounted with the fuel pump. So we will be replacing the whole fuel pump assembly. 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan, only 43k. Would like to wait, but too nervous to drive without a fuel gauge. Over 65, too old for this stress.
HThat box they are refereing to is the Charcoal Canister. And you will have to remove it as well to get to the connector on its top. Also, the Fuel tank has to be removed forwards to get it out. Before dropping the tank while your at it, clean out the charcoal inside and check the sensor too... And, before dropping the tank.. make sure to remove the filler tube, which is a pain in the ass😂
