used to be a cinema near railway bridge ..shopping center across road and Charlie Chaplin pub and another pub called Butts just a square building with no windows

Also the Pink Elephant on the pole which 'Jim Davidson' sat on....... What were the pub beside it by the bus shelters, always looked very run down .....😢 Also remember, i think it were called 'Starburger' , under the 'Charlie Chaplain' , best cheeseburger & chips for miles,'Like a Wimpey' burger joint. Had many a beer in the 'Butts ' opposite

I was looking for video of the metropolitan tabernacle which is visible starting around 2:00, but you turned before you got in front of it. 😢 great video. Almost like walking there.

I might get lost! It looks a lot nicer. But! bit sad I remember it different of course maybe looks a little less human with the tower blocks a little to polished. I do Like the different place to sit and eat. "Totally wasted on Jim"
I Felt a bit like "The Inimitable Boz," from his biography. When in later years walking round parts of banks of the Thames lamenting the change's from his youth. But that's London and Boz understood that.
Having said that if I was born again it would have to be 60s 70s 80s London, even if it was only because of the music and the way it was acquired and consumed. We are of a time!!
