- A morning fishing trip in my small boat is well rewarded when I catch some good eating fish by trolling lures. With the catch cleaned, I cook a meal of fresh beer battered mackerel. Hope you enjoy the video. #returnoutdoors #mackerelfishing

Great video! Keeping it real (or reel) as usual. You could see how small your boat was today, with the less then glassy conditions. I could almost feel each swell sitting on the front seat of the tinny. Thanks for taking me along with you again.

Conditions in the bay can get quite tricky with a stiff breeze and strong tidal flow so pick your weather carefully if heading out. Glad you enjoyed the video. Cheers!👍

She’s a beautiful island even when it’s cloudy and grey. Fantastic haul of mackerel you took there. That cook up looks mouth watering. Is there much difference in taste between the grey and Spanish mackerel?
Personally I think Grey mackerel are of very similar eating quality to the Spanish.

I think i would amazed if the bay was any better than that . I have gone over about six times in 45 years when it was calm for my 4mt .

Gday mate a bit lumpy out there today but you got a good feed , how do those macks compare with the spaniards in taste ? Anyway you got a few , better than i ever did up there take care oh not trying to tell you to suck eggs mate but please wear a life jacket out there only takes one instance and your in the drink .
Grey mackerel in my opinion are of similar eating quality to Spaniard. I appreciate your concern and wearing a lifejacket is great advice. Thanks heaps for your support!
Hi mate didnt want to offend you but saw some blokes 3 of em had there tinny capsize 2 had there jackets on properly and were ok the third didnt have it done up by the time he got to the hull the jacket was floating away on its own and he was struggling to stay afloat i wear mine at all times come from a sailing family where capzizes are part of the fun take care .
It is true, life jackets have saved many lives. I would never be offended by someone advocating for safety.

Love your videos. A quick question. How big is your boat and outboard? and do you recommend lure or bait fishing off maggie
The boat is only 3.95m with a 25hp Yamaha. I have no personal preference as far as fishing with bait or lures. Each day can require a different approach to get the fish on the bite. Thanks for your questions. Cheers!👍

Had 6 2 strokes, never go back. Now 1 4 stroke & real happy with it.

It sucks when you are just trying to watch a good fishing experience, and think, "Hey how nice that a daughter wants to go fishing with her dear old dad... who keeps filming her from behind... and why is she almost naked? There is one channel where the old daughter/wife has been replaced by a brand new one. Super creepy.
