- This siren is operated by Sedgwick County Emergency Management (Wichita, KS) T-75 is the 75th Federal Signal Thunderbolt produced in the early 1950s, In 1958 it was used as the first use of an air raid siren as a tornado siren for the "El Dorado Tornado" when East Wichita was warned by the siren because of a Wichita Police Sergeant actions.
T-75 was originally at Kellogg & Rock Rd in Wichita at the old drive-in theater once it closed down it was moved across the street to a shopping center for 70 years at that intersection till 2021 when it was taken down and refurbished and moved to SCFD Firehouse 32 (Park City) where it now remains, This video is from its Ribbon Cutting ceremony.
