Anyone who gets a kick out of tormenting their neighbors and the general public people with their loud cars/bikes is a narcissistic arrogant sociopath who deserves to have a run-in with an PSYCHOPATH (me) who will gladly "remove" them.
Why am I so passionate about it? Do you realize the very serious affects noise pollution can have on the mental/physical well being of others; particularly those who suffer from very real medical conditions? (PTSD, anxiety, misphonia ect) that are further exacerbated by loud noise? Educate yourself with a Google search for more info.
If you were my neighbor and decided to DELIBERATELY blast music or rev up your engine just to piss me off, I'd give you 2 or 3 chances AT BEST to correct it. I'd play it very cool with you. No aggression. No threats. None of that tough guy stuff. If you continued to trigger my PTSD with your noise....let's just say you would be dealt with. I have a burning disgust for people like you and I'd glady take the charge, make the nightly news and cause your family years of grief.

yeah, I have a rather loud RX-8, and I was being stupid with it one afternoon, and later that day a neighbor came by and politely asked to be quieter. Not disrespectful, not threatening. And guess what, I wasn't a prick and I stopped.

I love cars , it's my passion in life and I have a loud drag car. The thing that bothers me is the bubble tuning and straight pipe guys running around town. They go through neighborhoods at 60 plus and set off car alarms and the 2 step bmw cars are ridiculous. And this is at 2am during the day there to busy sleeping or playing Xbox. I would be okay with them reving at a car show or meet just not flying through a 15mph residential neighborhood.
Yup same here even tho I love the burble tunes from bmw m3 and m4 will not consider driving one at night because my area get quiet after sun go down so I think of getting a Tesla so I can drive that at night so I don’t annoying the neighbors

Quite a few of these clips, people have every right to be mad. Constantly revving in a city with people on the sidewalk, blocking traffic, doing burnouts in a residential neighborhood. But you try and spin it around like the car people are the victims
It's one thing to have a loud car, it's another to rev excessively. Like Rev battles are cool when you aren't blocking the road, but just to rev because you're flexing is ricer behavior

Loud engines sound terrible to most people. Here in the USA it's illegal to have an exhaust modified to be louder than it would be otherwise and decibel limits for motor vehicles. It's nothing but harassment and nuisance. Noise pollution.
I love cars but I'm also a respectful person. I try to avoid letting my cammed v8 idle at home if it doesn't need to, and I always start it and go. If I want to make noise I go to the track or an empty parking lot. Not everyone likes cars just like not everyone likes loud bass music. I always call people out on their music so who am I to annoy the neighbourhood with my car.

Sincerely,these people who rev up their cars in the middle of the city, are the ones who give a bad image to the Tuning Community, in Germany we have a word for these people, they are not considered as carguys neither tuners. We call them Poser, that means as much as showoffs. I utterly agree with the people who are annoyed by these kind of showoffs.Do not be mistaken into thinking that they are part of the car community.

I’m all for loud cars because at the end of the day to each their own but blocking the street when people need to get places makes you an asshole. Don’t inconvenience others and you won’t have issues.
Cars are a form of art, and every art has a time and place to be displayed. That's why movies have MA ratings and that is why loud cars should know where and when to exhibit their noise. Don't assume everyone likes loud cars too, some want peace, some want to show off. Be mindful adults.

If you're reasonable and respectful, I see no issues. As in, not blocking traffic, not speeding through your neighborhood, not revving in the middle of the night in a residential area. In most of these videos, the owners were interrupting other people's days to show off or get a video. I wouldn't be a d..ck and go yell at them, but they do give car culture a bad name at times because they are the boldest and loudest.
Personally I like cars that are a little more subtle, but that's just me. Maybe I'm just jealous that I can't afford a lambo lol

While some of these peeps could take a chill pill, I do think that there’s a time and place to do cool car stuff, and as long as it’s not bothersome to the majority of people (i.e. burning rubber in your driveway), and doesn’t cause traffic jams, wrecks, etc. I say do whatever!
I am a car person but I have to say overly loud exhaust systems just make me think that the owner is either trying to overcompensate for a small penis or they have some kind of insecurity and they feel insignificant so try and over compensate , very much like the South Park F”gs episode
I love cars, but some people can be so inconsiderate. Blocking busy public roads, revving your engine in a suburban neighborhood in the middle of the night, and things like that are kinda dickish. If you can find an empty road or parking lot, feel free to do donuts and screw around. If you’re in front of you house in the late morning-late evening, rev your engine as much as you want.

Rev Battles mid city are really not cool tbh. Don't mistaken me here, I love cars, and especially the sound (A loud Crossplane V8 in particular) but enjoy your cars, while trying to only moderatly piss of the people who might not enjoy it. For example take your Rev Battles to a more reserved area, outside the cities.
Let’s be for real guys, half of these car people are being pretty obnoxious. Like to an extent, blocking traffic to have a quick rev battle and a huge as burnout in your driveway is a little over the top. Cars are amazing and we dedicate our lives to them but when they start to disturb the peace idk. Nobody likes a Karen tho, but the 240 SX was loud asf, I don’t care what car you have if it’s that loud I would hate to be your neighbor. Just be mindful and have fun
