Yeah blame the saddle! Bet you were tootin the whole way! jkjk I loved the video and Mushu looks great on trail!
Mushu is such a good boy! And how is prince Naveen is he a good boy❤❤❤😊
I would love to see you get them back to barn, rinse em off, put em up or out, all the stuff. I love that I'm learning so much more than I've ever known about the good, boring, and bad stuff. If you're bored with nothing to do but edit, of course!
@@freespiritequestrian thank you for the heart and if I do get any money I sure will be ordering some of your cosmetics from from you s h e a I sure will p I don't have any money right now but I sure just wanted to say thank you and I enjoy your podcast and I just want to be in an encourager thank you for teaching me about horses I love him so much and have all my life I wished I could have had one but it wasn't in the cards for me but it doesn't mean in the future it might not be so you can learn what you learn we go we grow and we can mature and we move on and learn things you're never too old to learn and you're never too old to love
Also flipping his nice thick mane seemed to help keep those deer flies off!
My name is Beverly. I am 74 years old. Mushu is my favorite horse. Thank you for letting me enjoy the trail ride with him. It was like I was there riding him
Hi Beverly. If he were taller,(5’11” with a 36 inseam) I would love him as the guy that got me past my old man, when that time comes. His overall adorableness and in your lap puppy dog would be a great heart happy. Have the best day ever! I’m 69.
This comment really warmed my heart. Thank you Beverly.
I’m not as old as Beverly but I’m hospital bound going on 2 weeks and I just love this ride. I Agee with Beverly it’s like we are riding mushu. Here is to another week in the hospital.
@@Wyome67 oh dear. Being hospitable can be hard. I hope you have wonderful nurses, and that your ailments heal quickly. 🙏💜
I am fully re-jointed in the hips, knees and ankles and am 70. Even knowing what just one ride on Mushu would do to me I would ride him in a heartbeat! I just love the horse who has such a dynamic sense of curiosity and humor packaged in such a sturdy, talented body! Now if I lived close enough I would eagerly pay for lessons with any of Shae and Kyle's herd. Alas, I'm not that close. I just live vicariously thru these videos.
Mushi is the horse that most seems like a big dog to me. His interactions with humans seem like those of a very friendly dog.
My thoughts too! 💖🐎
5:43 set play speed to 0.5 😂🎉

These 2 people are the best at caring for horses. So gentle, patient, & kind. I enjoy them & have learned so much.
I don’t know how I overlooked Mushu’s cute, freckly nose! So many freckles! What a doll.
Yes! He has a lot of mottling ❤️
Mushu is such a good boy and so cute, I wish you could keep him forever. I could see him being a young girls heart horse though
Think he has already found his forever home, the way he sits.... and responds is very special ❤ xx
Liz did you buy Mushy?@@lizmackey6865
@@lizmackey6865 I see what you are saying, but I think a lil girls dream pony would suit him best!
Are you planning on selling Mushuu?
Oh, no! Is he being sold??!! 😢
A couple that rides together, stays together. Glad to see Kyle enjoying himself.
My partner and I had many years of trail riding together, it was great.
Can't wait till Kyle gets to ride Neveen on the trails!!! So excited for him. I'm sure he's looking forward to it as well.
Not always :(😢
That’s right! Horses, motorcycles, camels whatever it may be ❤
@@thebucksstophere8870
Interesting combination.
He is Such a Character! Someone should write a Children’s Book on Mushy Mushu 😇🥰❤️
Definitely!
Great idea!! He has so much to give!!!!
What a Good Boy he is. ❤ With his demeaner his chances of an excellent future are endless. I can see him as a therapy horse for autistic or handicapped children. He is a Rock.
That’s hard to imagine him not being with Shae.
That burp!! 😲 And Kyle didn't bat an eyelid! 🤣
He’s used to it 😆😆
@@freespiritequestrian I guessed that, Shae 😂😘
I'm just enjoying the 'burp' conversation!😅
25:19 *thunk* "OW!" It's okay, Kyle! The cameraman never dies!
That burp was so loud I could hear it from my bedroom. Oh wait :D
The success of these guys is a testament to your horsemanship skills and caring nature. So fun to see everyone doing amazing!
I loved the way Mushu responded with such affection to Shae’s praise of the way he did the trail!
Mushu's saddle looks like it fits him very well! The other saddles always looked Iike they were shrunk in the washing machine! 😂❤❤
Seeing Mushu canter to keep up to Jimini's trot, I think he'd gallop to keep up with Bageera's buggy trot! The one time I saw her buggy trot was this summer on your outing with students and I kept replaying the best scene of her; I could not get enough of it!!!
Mushu doesn't mind moving. That's what I like. He's just a very good boy.
You need to oil your saddle
You live the life so many of us dream of. All my horses have passed and I'm at the age where it is too late for me to have another. That's why I enjoy watching you so much. I so much love that you are bitless. I rode most of the time with only a halter and two lead ropes. Never had a problem.
Mushu is such a big lovable goof. He misses his bodyguard Lumiere. Thank you for this adventure Shae and Kyle. You will never know the happiness you bring your viewers. ❤🐴🌟🐎🙏
I got so sick of inhaling bugs while trail riding I got a complete screen cover that covered my head no matter what hat I wore. I suppose I missed out on a whole lot of BUG PROTEIN in my diet, but I was OK with that! Nets would mess with your video's tho'. Is this the same park where you ponied Mushu before? And I love the squeaky saddle telling it's own tale of relaxing and learning to work. I had a new saddle that sounded like a fart machine for the first summer. My friends just loved it! Can't you just wipe human fly spray on the horses heads and ears? I did it, for trailing in the woods and swamps, but you may have objections to using it. It worked. Boy do I like those reins you use! Great for the hands! Hey the camera shots are REAL AND WONDERFUL from both of you!! So real I can smell the woods and the horses! All 4 of you ROCK!
I was living for that burp!!
There’s that old saying “Better to burp and taste it, than fart and waste it!” 🤣
I wondered if I heard what I heard. Lol. She's polite about it. Nice video!
I'll give it a 5 for duration!
😂😂😂
Mushu was such a good boy for his first trail ride. He was definitely listening to you, paying attention to where he was putting his feet and that canter looked like a rocking horse canter; so smooth. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Wow he did so good ….especially for the first time! He such a cute horse…love his build! You guys were concerned about the filming…but I thought it was great! Thanks for taking us along!❤️
I love all of your horses but there is just something so special about mushy!! He is just precious! He did very well on the ride! Jiminy is also a wonderful special horse!! Hope you all had the best time!!
The belch took me out!! 😂
Girl after my own heart! 😅
SAME 😂😂😂
And then the "scuse me." 🌬🤣😆🤣😆
I was like "did not see that coming" 😂😂
@@BabyScatha LOL
Everything about Mushu is so cute! He's one of the cutest horses ever.
He has so much trust and feels so safe among his human family and the members of his horse herd. You're doing an excellent job setting him up for success and we get to watch it.
He's successful now
Mushu looks really curious about what's happening. He handled his first trail ride like a pro! It's great to see Kyle on the trails with you.
What a beautiful way to wake up here in Australia 🇦🇺. It was 3.20 a.m. I couldn’t sleep. An Old persons problem 🤣🤣. Mushu warms my heart, I was crying at the end, because I was so proud of our little fella 💞💞 Mushu did a grand job on his first trail ride. He’s so well behaved, alert and aware of his surroundings 😘🐨🐨🦘
I think Mushu did such a great job because he really enjoyed the trail ride! He's a very personable horse and he seemed to like the change from his usual routine.
Mushi is clearly having a good time!! Even though you are extremely experienced, thank you for wearing a helmut and a vest. It speaks volumes to all riders!!
It's like riding a comfy couch
LOL!!
Mushu = my DREAM horse. Just his gentle soul and his eyes...... and his color... his FRECKLES!!! OMG... everything...!
Yes. His freckled are the best.
He's my dream horse, too! Such a sweetheart! 💕
You forgot his mustache!
I met my first Gypsy Vanner at a Renaissance Festival dressed as a unicorn, I literally did not believe the 'stach was real, I thought they were messing with me!
Beautiful, Shae! He has come so far, what a precious little sturdy boy! He is a real gem. Thank you for sharing! I love how Jiminy helps you train the other horses, that is so precious...
I love Mushu will dearly miss him when he's gone.
I'm pretty sure Mushu had the BEST day... tons of getting attention! His FAVORITE THING! 🥰
This is so cool to get to see the experiences the horses get throughout their program with you. Thank you for taking the time to film this and bring us along on this journey.
Kyle looks like he has horse experience. What is his back ground??
Kind of a new world for Kyle to deal with the fact that he’s got his own subscriber fan base now. We’ve all got our cybernoses in his business….what’s he thinking, what does he like, what is going on with his growing horse skills, how’s it going with him and Prince Naveen. Bet this wasn’t on Kyle’s bingo card for 2024! 🤣😂🥰🥰 You’re handling it with grace, Kyle. I can hardly wait until your first ride on Naveen!! 💥
So fun to see Mushu on this trail ride. Yet another example of the result of Shae’s horse training skills and judgment on behalf of the equine. For me, Shae’s ongoing narrative is educational which I’m here for! I like when she talks for the horse. 😂
(Plus we love her fashion sense. 😉)
This channel gets better and better.
Every time you post a new trail ride with a new horse , you can totally see and hear the time, love and attention you have put into each horse, its simply a joy to watch thank you for sharing with us x
❤A perfect sentiment
You're all so enjoyable to watch, both two- and four-legged! This video may be A day at the office, but for me it's a half hour of happiness and beautiful horses! So thank you for sharing that too! 🇺🇲🥰🇩🇰
What a great trail ride. Everything you do before taking Mushy out for his first trail ride makes for a wonderful successful experience! Foundation work and all your hard work pays off. The loving attention you give all your horses lifts my spirit. Yay to you and Kyle for living your dreams ❤
Mushu did brilliant for his first trail ride and it was really really lovely seeing just you and your husband out together ❤🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎❤️
I just noticed Mushu has freckles.❤ Too cute! 😊
Seeing Mushie's progress under your tutelage is incredible, what a sweet willing boy with a great teacher!
mushu is doing an amazing job, he is really calm to be for his first trip in the forest. Amazing 😍😍😍😍
I was so depressed earlier but watching your video made me smile. Thank you.
Lucy sending u a big hug from London
Yes, Mushu is. A ham. He is like a big puppy dog. He did so good. Even with the flies, saddle squeaking. Love this little horse, hope he finds a great home, covered in Love!! Love You Mushu!!!
Where else would be better than FSE?? Great trainer, a herd to be with, expert care and lots of love!
It’s so funny how many fans Kyle has. Kyle seems really sweet but Shae you are my hero. I look forward to hearing you talk even more than the horses. I’ve learnt so much❤❤❤
What a fun trail ride for Mushu. He did really well. You'd never know that it was his first trail ride. You've built a strong connection with Mushu when you broke him to ride. He is confident knowing that you were there and Jiminy is a strong leader. Nicely done. 😎😎😍😍
Mushu is such an amazing horse. He is adorable and such a good boy. I love his personality.
Mushi did so well…I’m sure you’re very proud of him-yay Mushu!!
Muchu-stach is practically perfect in every way. ❤😊
Omg his little excitement bronk was sooooo cute
Love the squeaky squeak! Fond Memories!
Mushu looks to me like what I've imagined a "Hobbit pony" to look like-❤❤❤
oh my gosh, 100%!!!
A hobbit pony for sure!
I love the sound of creaking leather.❤ Good boy Mushy!❤
Shoo fly don't bother me, Mooshu you did great🐎 Thank you Kyle and Shae for taking us with you ❤
I used baby powder or talc in the space where leather touched another part of leather, where it was squeaking.
any time Mushu is involved I LOVE it, he just makes me smile looking at him. Such a chunky Monkey...Love em'
Mushu is one of a kind. I thought he was ugly but my daughter saw him and said he was awesome. Now I think he is amazing. He has so much personality that he warms the heart!
What an Amazing trail ride with Kyle and so fun too💘
Begins back my younger days riding with my friend in high school!
One time stayed overnight at her home and we snuck out at midnight to go riding with a full moon out. We had fun then got bit not fun when a homeless guy pulled my friend off her horse, horse ran back to stables, her german shepherd dog took off back home.. I rode up and she grabbed on and we took off to stables.
We were girls who weren’t afraid of doing adventures!
This time it scared us.
Never again riding on levy after midnight with full moon. Our guardian angels working overtime for sure🕊️🙏
Thanks again for sharing and made my day and memories that are treasures now😊😄🥰🫶👵🏻
It is so nice to see how lovingly you work with every single horse, with the same one hundred per cent commitment ❤.
Mushy is a lovely horse, a fine animal indeed.
I would gladly listen to the creaking saddle to sit in that spot. Looks like heaven...ooh maybe heaven looks like this!!!
Mushu is such a good boy. He just wants to please so sweet. Love him.
Mushu is growing up to be a great horse. He's so adorable! Great to see him with Jiminy learning from the pro to be a trail boss. Love teasing Kyle about showing. 😂
He is a good boy and Beautiful Horse ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
He did so well on this trail ride. I think we, your viewers, were as proud of him as you were. He truly makes me so happy and puts a smile on my face!!! “Great job Mushu.” 😋❤️😜
So fun seeing Mushu"s first trail ride. He's such a good boy
Oh my goodness, so excited to see his Royal Potatoness on the trails!!!
1st Edit: Um, yes please we would love to see Kyle's engineering approach to a show. ❤
Aww!!! What a good boy Mushu is 👏🏼 and a great teacher/leader Jiminey is 🥰🐴💖
I am impressed by Mushu! For a first time in water, he did great!
Jiminy is such a pro! His confidence will help Mushu learn. 💕
He’s such a smart beautiful sweet boy! And Jiminey is equally those things plus an excellent mentor and leader! ❤❤
I love Mushy!!!! Such a relaxing ride/video!!! Thank you for allowing us to go in your journey!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
25:19 Kyle's Mystery Yelp: Smacked by a limb?! Vicious bite by a deer fly?!!! Blown out of the saddle by another of Shae's highly impressive ever so human longshoreman's belch?!!!?
I Love This Couple!
Love Mushu’s summer coat. The spots on his nose and backside are so pretty!
Shea, Mushu does remind me of a big dog with that thick rug of a mane and those cute little velvet ears! Thanks for taking us along for the tide! 🐎🥰
I think he did great and I really like his gaits. He's a great, fun little darling of a horse!
Mushu did great. He really loves you! So fun to watch! I look forward to watching him at the show.
Mushu did so well!! He looked really good trotting.. such a VERY good boy!❤
I believe in Mushu! He is going to be a willing, curious, and interested horse in learning another skill. Mushu is with his family. He knows Jiminey well and Kyle. Nice to have Kyle do this trail run on Jiminey. The amount of trust, love, respect and confidence Shae has in her heart horse as a leader, babysitter, steady friend for other less experienced horses at FSE Stable is such an important aspect to the mission and the fundamental philosophy of training at FSE. Thus Jiminey is a key asset in the development of young, less skilled horses in certain areas. Today, Mushu is going to have the advantage of an experiened trail horse, an experienced rider/trainer and a known good, confident rider, all working to give Mushu the best first time trail ride. AWESOME!!! 👍🥰. He is a wonderful young lad!!! 💗🐎💗
Jiminey is a one in a million type horse! Mushu is such a good boy!
Ahhh, Jimini and that little, ahhh, I AM THE TOP DOG at the beginning, lol 😂. Love Mushu and his squeaky saddle!
❤️🤎🤍
Not surprised at all. You are so good at helping your horses be confident.
Mushu did awesome! Kyle did real well too! Fun! ❤
Shae," you've done it again"! Mushie is the best. I was wondering if you taught Kyle how to ride?? He looked like he knew what he was doing and comfortably so. So cool to see you guys riding together 😊
He's still my favorite. There's just something about Mushu. ❤🐴
I'm in love with that big Mush ;-) He's so loving and expressive !
Best part .... Kyle filming you and Mushy 💜 it was nice to see! 👍
Superstars, all of you! Smoosh enjoyed that very much ❤
Mushu had his cute little ears listening to you the whole time. He was a very good boy for his first time on a trail ride.
Mushu practically took a swim in that creek. If it was warm that day, it must have felt good to him.
Mushu is just adorable. He always aims to please. Nice ride.❤
Shae, your positive vibes are contagious. No wonder your horses respond so well to your patient and loving training! Fun video.
Mushu did amazing on his first trail ride!!!! ❤ Glad to see Kyle getting out on the trails more!
When you pull out Mushu for a ride, he's such a fluffy, cute, round, low-rider, it's like a Thelwell's Riding Academy cartoon has come to life. 😆 Love him. 😍
Thank you I've been wondering what he reminded me of, that's it exactly.
@@Spearse29 Yes, it nagged at me, too, for a bit trying to figure out who/what he reminded me of, and then I remembered those short, chunky, hairy Thelwell ponies, and then Shae hopped on with her riding helmet, and the cartoon came to life! 🤣 Glad I am not the only one who remembers them. 🙂 Oh, and he also makes me think of Alf for some reason. 😆
omgg he’s soo cuteee, his little nose ❤🥹
Moosh! What a good boy! I know you will move him on (and someone will be very lucky.) but I’m going to miss him when he leaves. 😢
He was so precious out there on the old lonesome trail!🤠
Great first trail ride, Mushie! He might be goofy at times, but he's pretty chill, smart, brave (defender of Gaston), and apparently (surprisingly?) gives 'good canter.' I have a feeling he remembers Waterloo, because he was really taking it all in when you ponied him previously. I couldn't see that anything made him nervous, and don't you just love it when they surprise you?
I LOVE HOW YOU LOVE YOUR HORSES AND TAKE SUCH GOOD CARE OF THEM.
Omg! He’s a star! I’m so proud of him. Thank you for bringing Mushu into our lives. What a sweet boy. Because of you, I’m going to start riding lessons. I’ve always loved horses and used to ask for a horse for Christmas every year. I just turned 71, but I’m a trim, fit 71 yr old. How often would you recommend I go for lessons per week?
2x per week if possible!
Mushy is so very CUTE, and he is very lucky to have you as his horse Mom!❤
