Could you please tell how did you managed to fix that colliding issue in 4:50? You kinda skipped it and didn't explain how to get to that menu to turn that on.
Hello, great videos please keep them coming. Do you think you create a Kitbash to UE5...also show us how to change the Kitbash signs to make our own unique buildings like you mentioned in the video.
I opened the project through windows explorer (double-clicked the project file & that loaded Unreal Engine). But If I look in Unreal content browser, the directory structure was there, but no files. If I “show in explorer” (which opens windows explorer) the files are there. Perhaps I should open Unreal Engine and then open the project through Unreal?
would it be possible to show us how the meshes are setup? polycount for some of them, lods, uv and so on. i am somewhat interested in these assets, but i still cant thell if they can be used in runtime build.
File may be in download instead of ue4 folder. Copy final KB3D KIT FOLDER CONTAINING CONFIG CONTENT .... PROJECT FILES, copy it to your UE4 FOLDER, THEN DELETE COPY IN DOWNLOAD FOLDER to save space \-_-/
could you help please was dragging and dropping the actors and nothing happens I know that seems stupid but been trying to set this up since the 4.0 video came out last week and been nothing but frustrated dealing with this lol thanks much??
Nice video but you forgot one thing. What if I want to migrate my KB actor files into a previous version of UE4 say...4_24 instead of 4_25? I seem to be having some issues with this.
If you just use the *FREE* pack he has shown in this Video, you can use it for free as a hobby. However, if you have a team under 7 artists, the license for the *FREE* pack costs 399€. And we dont wanna talk about how much the other packs which already cost over 200€, cost with a Studio License (Over 7 artists)...
@@ThePixelitomedia and their other packs can cost over 300€. And don't forget the Indie Team License which costs 399€. So you would end up paying 699€ as a Indie Team for like 15 Buildings which dont even have interior. We dont even wanna start talking about the AAA studio license which probably goes into the thousand dollars area
it's about leveraging what is available to you and using creative problem solving. I'm sure there is a use for these type of models...I can think of a few off the top of my head tbh.

Open the static mesh and on the bottom right scroll down to collisions. Switch it to use complex collision as simple
@@SmartPoly ohhh, i've been trying to edit actor instead of static mesh :) Many thanks!
Why do the textures look so ugly for kitbash in ue4?

Now to add interior to kitbash building ?
Thanks for the very useful video! Keep up the good work!
How do you modify the buildings to add working doors?
I struggle with clothing effect on flags and curtains when importaing Kitbash, I looked at some tutorials but I am stuck. Any advice, would be great
Was it the lighting or the metalics are off for things on the buildings and stuff?
Could you make a video on the process of adding an interior to a kitbash3D building?
Please do that I really want to know
Can we make reflections with them
Been eyeballing kitbash for a while!
thanks for the tutorial. i want to suggest you get a pop-filter, i dont mean to be smarmy... just a suggestion
Unreal Engine refuses to load any of the .uasset files and says they are unsupported. I just have a blank world :/
Did you open the kitbash project or did you just drag and drop the .uasset files? You can only migrate them from inside the project

4.25 needed (I was on 4.24)
Actors aren't showing up
Thank you very much 👍🏼 💯

You could export the meshes and simplify them using a 3D modelling program?
@@YouGotCreeped sure, but if I buy game ready assets, i kinda expect them to be game ready.

THANK YOU MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN YOU SAVE ME! ooh thanks I love you
Do I launch the project in 1.26 or before that since 1.26 just sits a 45%.
Hi , good video !
For me , nothing showed up in the folders , still 3gb the package but when i open it just empty, is there any solution?

\-_-/
You downloaded it to your downloads folder instead of your UE4 FOLDER,
\-_-/ the full answer can be found on an above reply.
I download it, its crazy

Now you talking..thanks for this UE4 tutorial.:)

Maybe try switching the project version of the kitbashed project to 4.24?
Whats the licensing for kitbash? Like can their stuff be used in games or is it just creativity purposes?

Parabéns que conteúdo bom

3 gigs ... Yeah that's sounds about right. I guess that's fair.
Dont know why everybody hyping kitbash. The models are medicre with bad textures. Have fun using them in games... No interiors...

No thanks... Every game will look identical... There's a lot to be said for a personal touch...
