You are making amazing video content. I just watched the video and your video quality is appreciable. I am so impressed by your content, I was analyzing your channel and noticed that You are struggling with video views and video ranking. May I share some tips on how you can achieve your goals?
Wow, I had no idea about the genetic predisposition to bladder stones in Dalmatians. It's shocking that this issue is so prevalent, yet many breeders seem to be turning a blind eye. Thank you for shedding light on this important topic. Hopefully, by educating potential Dalmatian owners, we can create a demand for responsibly bred dogs and improve the lives of this wonderful breed. Thank you for caring ❤
I absolutely hope so! There's really no reason to be producing HUA dogs today, with the information we now have about how it impacts them, and with the dogs that produce 10x less urate who exist!
Thank you for this video. I had a dalmation perhaps 20 years ago and had no idea this was an issue with the breed. She passed away as a young dog from intractable seizures sadly. she was a sweet girl. Do owners with the HUA dals ever give subq fluids to hydrate their dogs?
Seizures can be so awful, I am so sorry 💔 Thanks for the question about administering fluids! We have to be careful not to do that in patients that aren't dehydrated as it can cause fluid overload. There may be cases where dogs are sick enough that they need hospitalization and careful rehydration, but for most dogs it isn't necessary/appropriate.
Excellent video! I also listened to the linked podcast this summer and really enjoyed it
I'm so glad you also enjoyed that podcast episode! It's an interesting one!

I had female Dalmatian that had blocked from bladder stones. It was not common because of the size of their urethra
Yes! It's more common for males to block
