In1931 when Savarkar was released from Andman on reaching India the first thing he did wss appeal to the New Indian govt that before celebrating first Independence Day India should procure the maximum atomic weapons and strengthen the defence forces.But it took a long for this because till the Vajpayee govt did the atomic test at Pokharan no govt had paid attention to the advice of Savarkar.Advo Ram Gogte Vandre Mumbai51.
