In this video I'm showing how to power trowel a 1500 sq ft garage floor using a brand new MBW 36" power trowe.
MBW asked us to try out this concrete power trowel and give you our opinion on the quality and ease of use.
After power troweling this concrete floor with it, my guys said they "loved the new power trowel". This 36" power trowel operates very smoothly at high RPM's and has virtually no vibration in the handles.
It was very well made (it's made in the USA), and comfortable to run for an extended period of tim.
After using the MBW 36" trowel to finish this garage floor, I highly recommend it for you to purchase for your business.

Up here in Northwest Ohio practically every concrete contractor uses MBW power trowel machines.
Mike didn't mention how reliable they are. Reliability matters a lot in the concrete business. It would suck if you had a raging slab to finish and your power trowel doesn't work.

Thanks for making the video. Quick question? I live in a typical single-family home in a subdivision in Northern VA. The house was built in the early 90's and has a (slab on grade/ floating slab) for the garage floor. I am drilling 1/2" holes through the slab and possibly a foot into the dirt for termiticide. They will be along the perimeter spaced 1 foot apart (so maybe 50 holes).
Question is: will I be drilling into any utilites? I am assuming I will hit gravel before the dirt.

Is power troweling (after bull floating) necessary if you plan to grind the floor anyway? What would be the result if the power troweling was skipped?
I've done exterior slabs before without power troweling (broom finish) and with reasonable success but I am about to pour a 2000 square foot interior garage floor slab and don't want to mess it up.
