I'm thinking of doing a guide on getting the Cat Fight achievement next. Basically, a video on the most efficient ways of getting Credits, Motherboxes, and Gear/Gear Abilities. What do you all think?
I have done some research and determined the best Motherbox to open for Gear abilities. I also have some extra tips on how to have a better chance at getting certain gear drops, free and easy motherboxes, what each motherbox gets you, ways to farm credits, etc. Expect a video tomorrow/Monday? :)
Witchblade Brainiac needs to be level 20 to unlock the achievement/trophy for getting all fighters to level 20, that's all. SmoothLegend the Cat Fight achievement/trophy is awarded for winning a match with Catwoman with the final hit being from her Cat Call ability and that ability can only be obtained from a drop or motherbox.
+Raiderhorn That is soooo messed up. All the other character trophies are from the base move set. I thought they just changed the name of the move in a patch and forgot to change the trophy description. This is so much worse.
Just wanted to say for the third method with the AI battle sim, go to the attributes and remove all the points and put all the points in combos and rushdowns it makes them less likely to lose
I set the options to 1 rd instead of 2, single fights over and over make a decent amount if you use these heavy and environmental attacks like in the video here with whatever character.
funnytoyvideos 2 rounds you get double the exp of 1 round and it cuts the time down since you have to press rematch twice as many times on 1 round plus the loading inbetween so yeah 2 rounds is faster
Adamfiremask The only way to prevent it is to take away a majority of the xp gain. I can literally give myself 1000xp every time i do this, in less than a minute. Sometimes even 20-30 seconds flat.
What I've been doing is making an AI loadout, and then just having it do the endless Multiverse battle, and set the stats to 1 grapple, 1 rushdown, 30 combo, and 28 counter, and nearly every time your character will be able to earn up to a gold box for you and level up 4-6 times
Hey Ranson, when you are choosing the AI, are they already appearing as Lv 1? That may be the case. When I go to select an AI to fight, they are level 20 and I think it's because of that I'm able to select the level they are in the fight
If you have a fightstick, you can turn it in Turbo X mode, have something to weigh down the X button, and go into AI battle simulator and it will farm XP for you overnight or while you're at school or work.
But don’t u have to stay and press continue for the next fight? So in a way u have to be there which I hate. I wish i can just leave it going on without having to press x to continue
Why would you turn off arena transition?!?! That gives you EXTRA XP and the clock stops when those happen. You also get more xp for doing super move finishes.

If you use 2 controllers on a two round split screen match and get a flawless win its 1000 xp each time. Plus an additional 40 xp for using your supermove
Yes 2 rounds is still fast, in my previous video on levelling I was completing characters from 36-46 minutes and that was also without essential things like level handicap, timer, etc.
Kirsten Kelly-Vargas Transitions will save time on the clock but I think you would have done way more damage doing ground bounces in the same amount of time it takes you to watch the stage transition.
The one thing I don't completely understand is: why make it IA to fight in multiverse? why don't YOU fight? do you earn more xp if it's the IA playing? or is just that the IA is going to win every battle and maybe you won't? Thanks! Great video
The AI is shown for those who don't know or who don't want to physically play as much multiverse towers as they have to, it can be exhausting after a while. You can by all means play them yourself instead of the AI :)

Exactly. I actually leave it running while I play a game on my PC or watch a movie or something and just make sure to advance the match when they win. IDK if it's really the fastest way, but it is the easiest. Especially if you do the Endless tower.
question... I'm not a big gamer so excuse me. my daughter and I really enjoy playing injustice 2. I usually play 1st player under my account and she plays on a 2nd account I created for her. the problem I am having is her keeping her characters leveled up. when we play for several hours her characters Level increases and she changes their looks/shaders and stuff on the different load outs but when we turn off the game and come back to it later, all of her individual character level ups and shaders have been reset. am I missing something?? however, her over all account level stays in tact WTH. Any help is appreciated. hope that made sense
In terms of level progression you're right don't do battle sim but if you want to get gold mother boxes fast and level up characters at same time battle sim is great, just delete the battle log after 5 matches and you can earn a shit ton of mother boxes

This is because this method was for Launch Version of the game. We are no longer on the launch version. Refer to my post patch updated guide in the description

Yes you can do that however 1 round is faster in the long run. The time it takes to complete one 1k Xp match I've already completed two 560 Xp matches, that's 100+ extra Xp.
The fastest time I've ever achieved for levelling a character on 2 rounds was a little over 34 minutes (Deadshot). I then switched to 1 round and tested and got a faster time easily my fastest being 31m 40s (Firestorm).
I just sit back and put combos at 60 for my AI loadout then play my AI on the endless tower in multiverse, recommend this to everyone all you have to do is press A or X every match ending and you also get a lot of gear and rank up ur account your welcome
Not necessarily. You get a bit of gear if you do Multiverse as well as Motherboxes as rewards from Multiverse towers. And from the sheer amount of credits you'll have after grinding a few characters to 20 you'll be able to buy quite a few motherboxes
Harambe yeah but the point of it is to level up your character to level 20 so when you do the multivere you'll get more gear matching your characters level intead of getting lower leveled gear
It's also worth mentioning in addition to david's reply that after doing many characters to lv 20 this way you'll have lots of credits to buy motherboxes.

How do you get Cat Fight?

Thanks, I leveled up Joker to 20, then tried on a second character and got 10% as much XP per match. I guess it only works so many times.

I didn't use AI, I played a local versus match (with L1-L3 weak armor)
It took me exactly 42 minutes to get my robin from level 1 to level 20 and i was only used one controller

Yes, if calculated comparing the times and Xp payouts, 2 rounds is faster by about 1-2 min.

Don't forget there are also certain pieces of gear that add XP bonuses to your character this could add even more speed

Another trick if you go in vs or single match against an AI, is to unlock a boot gear with down to earth. A good roll added 400XP for not jumping.

It wastes a lot of time building meter to use your supermove, let alone watching the move

I was worried you couldn't do this multiverse tactic on Xbox, you have put that to rest thank you..
You should keep area transitions on because it takes off a significant amount of damage without taking any time off the clock.
And pick a dummy with a low health stat.

I was using this method to level up Grodd, but when I got to level 6 it stopped giving anymore then 58 XP per perfect match. I'm really frustrated.

Changing the Round Limit to 1 instead of doing isn't needed since you get 1K exp for 2 rounds and 500 exp for 1 round.

That's what i am doing just playing multiplayer by my self while fighting a loner swamp thing.
Setting rounds to 1 reduces xp gain by more than half, keep it on 2 rounds. Trust me.

No. This method is now outdated and an updated strategy is coming shortly.

How many points per match? I'm only getting 580 per match

I leave it at 2 rounds, it give you at least 990+ xp for your character

I usually do wall bounces and hit them with the "x" button and I can win in 8 seconds per round but points are worst with the one round method

I'm only getting 550xp per fight. what am I doing wrong? I win the match with 280 time remaining.
You should be winning the match with a timer of 295 at the earliest to 289 at the slowest
