toheeb07 do you have a second controller? Because if you use a guest account he'll be level 1 with no gear. Brainiac and Superman are just as weak though; all three of them have 950hp
toheeb07 in single fight if you want a level 1 press the options button (Y or Triangle) then there should be the option *Choose opponent level* , then choose level 1 and fight Swamp Thing. If it isn't giving you that option it's probably because you've chosen a load-out , if so you can just de-select and reselect your character. I do single fight instead of Multiplayer because the load times seem much shorter, although you do have to worry about them attacking and them clashing. But I got everyone to 20 this way.

I've been at it for about a week now lol. I just listen to music while doing it. I even made a little game out of it: level up before the next song starts. I have 3 characters left

To make go by faster, do this same process but KEEP 2 rounds. You get 1000xp instead 500xp. Also, turn off level handicap before matches.
C Nelson I found that it takes about the same amount of time using both methods. It just seems faster with 2 bars because of the 1,000 XP, but when you factor in that it takes about 10 seconds to finish a round with 1 bar, you're basically getting the same amount of XP in the same amount of time. Within those 20 seconds it'll take to do 2 bars for around 1,000 XP, you can also do two 1 bar matches which total to around 1,000 XP
weequahic10 This probably true. especially if you just do f3 and b3. However, some characters have buffs/combos that makes rounds go by even quicker. I think that ultimately makes my method quicker if you capitalize on those moves(which I do).
Edit: I do realize that would speed up your method too, I just think by then the XP would outvalue the time by then.

Another helpful tip is going into multiverse and check which planets are giving out epic gear and then proceed to level up that character to level 20 instead of doing random characters. And make sure to equip new gear after you get some to make the process go faster. I have gotten like 6 characters with all level 20 epic gear by doing this, would be more but sadly my ps4 disc drive broke a week ago.

The best AI setting is 30 on counters and 30 on combos. The AI never loses. My level 6 Brainiac won against a level 20 Scarecrow boss.

Go into customize characters, and there is a way for you to change what the AI should focus on. Then, in the multiverse, go into loadouts and go to the AI loadout to let the AI play.

The AI will 95% of the time hit the opponent before the opponent can execute an attack and will punish the opponent for unsafe move, then that hit will likely transition into a 30% damage combo.

Make an ai loadout with the right attributes for your character (ex: put 30 points in combos for the flash since he only has one zoning option and it's an ability you have to unlock) then go to the battle simulator in the multiverse and go to the endless battles event. From there all you need to do is press A or X depending on the version to start and end matches. The ai will do all the work for you and They're pretty smart so they won't lose easily as long as you set the difficulty to easy it very easy. This method is a lot less exhausting but it's just a suggestion.

It helps to put the A.i to fight and put on gear that grants bonus XP (make sure it's not profile XP.). It helps quite a bit.
Also it helps to equip characters with gear that increases charcter xp earned per fight.
If you don't have a second controller, just set the enemy to Very Easy in Single Fight, still goes by pretty fast.
if you leave it on 2 rounds to win you get twice the points cause you get points for the amount of health remaining

I've done both methods. They both take about 30-40 minutes if you start with a level 1 character and only use B3 or F3.
Well it takes the same time but you build more meter so i like to learn some combos and gather some frame data with characters i will play later on.
and for the disliked characters i just do b3 (in corner f3) + Jump 3 + d2 + any fitting special move.

I've found F3, Ji3 to be more consistent and faster than F3, B3. It usually takes about 5 to 6 seconds a match if you meter burn the second F3.

Single Fight puts you against an AI, who will attack you. The High XP comes from getting a guaranteed Perfect Match in Multiplayer

Nelly Kay I've done both methods. I've found that they both take around 30-40 minutes if you're starting from level 1 and using only B3 or F3. The only difference seems to be that using 2 bars instead of one looks faster. But it usually takes me about 10 seconds (give or take a few) to knock down 1 bar. 1 bar gives you around 500XP, so technically within the 20 seconds it'll take to knock down 2 bars of health for about 1,000XP, I could have also knocked down two single bars of health for about 500XP each. The 20 seconds I mentioned does not take into account the couple of seconds in between rounds when using 2 bars and the few seconds it takes to restart a match after it's over for both methods.
weequahic10 The 2 bars would technically be faster though because you don’t spend a lot of time in between matches
Grim Reaper I'm going based off of personal experience leveling up characters using both methods. There are a few seconds for the 2nd round to start using two bars and then a few seconds in between matches until you repeat the process. Idk what it is, it could be the few seconds in between the first and second round added on to the few seconds it takes to start the process over, but it takes about the same amount of time using both methods from my experience. This takes into account playing against the same character with no gear and competitive mode turned on.
putting your game on endless and using the A.I. loadout still seems faster plus you'll get gear very often, whereas doing this gives no gear.

@@anomaly3215 just listen out for the fight to end with controller nearby. When i used to play i would be watching tv or shows on my phone and would wait until i didnt hear rumble from the controller anymore. Now if you have a controller with a turbo button you dont even have to worry about pressing it if you set "A" to turbo. Never have to touch it

Cjkavy you can't buy mother boxes with real money I repeat you cannot but you can buy source crystals and use them ONLY to buy shaders or leveling up your character
This is not a pay to win game lol you can't buy gear with real money but you can buy motherboxes with the credit's you earn in game
