I keep hearing everybody say don't kick the field goal but I believe they kicked the field goal because KC CHIEFS quarter back was limping off the field. He was hurt, he wasn't one hundred percent. That's why they kicked the field goal.

@@alimctaven7417 The team found out a couple hours before the last game that an assistant coach had died, story no one talked about. The previous game last year the Bengals did not play any starters. The others they beat us but we hadnt put our team together yet. I would also add that division games anything can happen.

@@alimctaven7417 The Chiefs org seems to be pretty close, I could see them being impacted by finding out a coach died right before a game and I would not judge them if they didnt play any starters in another game... but no doubt the Bengals to end the Brown's little win streak, for some reason we are their SB every season.

Its funny to see opponents fans talk about the Bengals oline like it's terrible. They've had 3 bad games that have inflated the stats and have been very solid in the other 9. Their problem is elite outside rushers. If your team doesn't have a Myles Garrett they handle them pretty easily
Adam best you said it,the bengals have more talented players. Not a good matchup they went man last year and got torched. Also the bengals left like 13 pts on board

At some point you just have to be real. 3 times in a calendar year is all I need to see. Something about this matchup is bad for the Chiefs and the Bengals are flat out better. Now can the Chiefs beat them? Sure. The Chiefs can beat anybody. But if they play again in the playoffs you'd have to be pretty foolish to expect the Chiefs to beat them until you see any sort of proof to say otherwise.
If the Chiefs are to ever beat the Bengals, two main things have to happen. The Chiefs O needs to carry the team and score 30 plus like they're designed to do and the D needs to get some pressure on Joe. He had all day to calmly do whatever he liked.
I think the Chiefs defense is as weak in this game as they have been all year. Pass rush is always weak, bad tackling, run defense is terrible, the coordinator (Spagnola) is not a great coach, never was, never will be.
Let's be honest the Bengals are better than kc rn

The offensive line of Cincinnati had played considerably better the last five weeks. Burrow is going to have protection going forward and it's scary for the afc
It's also opening up holes for the run. Mixon had 4 rushing TDs in one game before his injury and Perrine has been doing great now.
Oh by the way Skyline chili is delicious. 😜 (Though I would never turn down KC BBQ 😉)

Spags is hit and miss. He was the same when he was with the giants. He has done a lot good things, but is he the answer long term.
I agree with Matt V.. This team has always had a bit of carelessness. And I hate to say it, its been more evident once mahomes tool over.. We rely too often on our other worldy talent, and forget the details and the little things. It bugs the shyt out of me.
I agree some of the play calling just leaves me in a state on bewilderment. I feel like the coaches need some fresh heads. Too many old guys running off formulas we need some young guys to add some freshness.

Garrett has been owning Cincy's O-line. It puts a lot of pressure on Burrow and opens up holes for Chubb. As a Bengals fan I am hoping that our O-line has improved enough to contain him this Sunday. If they do they should win. Also the Bengals run game has improved. So hopefully Cleveland is not our kryptonite any more.

It was the pressure, or lack thereof. They could have played the exact same coverage all game. If they get ANY pressure on burrow those young corners hold up. They only got 1 hit on burrow all game-- ONE!!!!!
Not sure where this narrative comes from? Burrow was sacked 9 times vs Titans still threw for 350 and won, you guys were all over him in the championship, still won. I get that adding pressure is always best but Joe, like Pat, does pretty well even with pressure.

Matt, I saw that Dana play. The guy got great pressure, and he just stumbled or stopped.

McDuffie played the best in the entire secondary.
McDuffie played Chase very well, not the biggest guy but he is sticky you guys got a good one.
Yeah he’s good, I think he would have struggled more against Higgins because McDuffie is much shorter but he can move well enough and has enough size to stick with Chase
Objective Cincy fan here... love your podcast. You guys are legit. Cincy has been underrated all year due to Joe B appendectomy and a slow start to the season. O line has been amazing lately also. You all are better than your'e feeling right now.

I am a Bengals fan but I really do like to watch the Chiefs play. You guys have a dynamic explosive team. I just think we are a bad match up for the Chiefs, mainly with your secondary defense. I also think our O-line and run game has improved enough where it makes a difference now as well. Cincy was pushing your D-line around more than expected and Perrine ended up with over 150 scrimmage yards. A lot of those yards ended up giving Cincy 2nd and 3 or 4 instead of 2nd and 7 or 8. It made a difference.

Our superstars are costing us games. Chris Jones and his mouth in Indy and Travis yesterday with the fumble. -Spags left rookie first timer CB Joshua Williams hung out to dry singled up on the outside against Davis and then against Diggs in the Buffalo game. Let's remember this is rebuild/reload year. Wylie is a clown. They run the table from here though. We don't match up well with good teams. Veach said he was going to build and upgrade the D-line and didn't do anything really.

We turned over the defense to get younger & more physical and yet still can't stop the top teams in the AFC. How long are we going to keep doing this dance and going heavy on defense in the drafts before we address the coaching?
OL for the Bengals never took a snap in preseason. Most of the sacks they gave up were in the first two games of the season and against the Browns. The Bengals OL has gave up 4 sacks the last 4 games. If you came into this game thinking the OL is terrible you're going to be crying at the end of the game because you believed a false narrative

It's funny we lose and everyone has a problem we win no one looks at our problems every team has problems we've lost three games it's not too shabby we lost this game by three points what matters is what we learn from it and can we go undefeated in the postseason for this team that's all that matters getting ready for the postseason and being undefeated in that season January February!
I'm not sure who's fans are more annoying chiefs or Bengals. I guess since both teams sucked for so long and now they are good that people can't help themselves. A lot of you act like you play on the team and are somehow a superior person because the team you watch is better than others. Cincy fans find some humility, it was a 3 point victory. Kc fans the sky is not falling they are 9-3 in a minor rebuild year.

Only used one jet sweep tonight but put up 44 on the leagues best defense a month ago by running a bunch of them. Kelce had a rare fumble and that was the difference, this team does not scare me nor the bills as long as kc is healthy come playoffs.
You aren't a chiefs fan they haven't sucked for the majority of the last 3 decades. Almost always post season contenders just not getting over game 1.

Chiefs, as usual, get screwed by the refs when Burrow’s interception is called back on a weak ass penalty. That’s a seven point swing.
Kelce fumbles, which never happens. That’s a seven point swing. Note: im sure if we looked hard enough, could’ve found a potential bengal penalty there.
Butker missed kick. That’s three.
Bottom line, Chiefs can and SHOULD beat the Bengals. This fluke nonsense can’t keep happening forever.

You seem to forget the Bengals dropped an INT, that s 7 points off the board. Tyler Boyd dropped a wide open TD, that's 7 more points off the board, and the Bengals were 1st and goal when they kneeled out the clock. Hypotheticals do not carry weight.

I’ll say this for them. Their line on both sides of the ball does seem to be better by a mile. They beat the Chiefs on line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball all game. But at the same time, If they do that, and still need turnovers, missed field goals and major, major game changing penalties, just to win by 3 points, then i am pretty comfortable picking the Chiefs to win every time. Especially in January. But hats off to the Bengals. They were victorious… this time. Can’t wait for January.
@@Khm89787 They didn't "need" those things to win though. They literally beat the Chiefs in every facet of the game. More yards, more first downs, more turnovers, more time of possession, more points etc. Your "3" points is a moot point especially considering they kneeled on the ball to end the game with 1st and goal.

@@davidrobinson2005 and part of the reason they lead in those statistics is because, they forced the fumble and the burrow interception was taken off the board. Reverse the outcome on those two plays and we probably win. So there’s that. Also, your teams biggest penalties were enforced on the kick return. They didn’t wipe out interceptions, so yes, that excuse still works.
Look, I understand why you disagree with me and I don’t blame you for thinking you have the better team. I can certainly see why you believe that. I have a different perspective on it than you for the reasons I mentioned, therefore still believe the Chiefs are better. You don’t have to agree with them, but you are wasting your time if you trying to convince me that the Chiefs are not better. Lets see what happens in January.

Can’t blame Patrick for this loss from what I saw on the highlights he was just playing his game delivering the football 🏈. Justin Reid should have kept his mouth 👄 shut because he didn’t back it up. The game was blocked out on the west coast stuck with the damn Raiders game. I think the Kelce fumble is what lost the game for them. How does a 3 man rush beat 5 O lineman?? They looked unprepared for it all of them. 15 might also possibly have a knee injury. His protection was not very good at all so he could better deliver the ball 🏈. If you get 15 injured no excuses for that at all in my opinion. I think they should blitz from the middle through the A gaps because Cincinnati was ready for outside blitzes. Niang got 1 rep in this game.

It's always good to lose in the regular season because a lot of times teams don't realize what they need to work on until they lose when they win a lot of their weaknesses get overlooked anyway I think Kelce doesn't fumble we win the game but it doesn't mean that we are great football team we might be touted as a great football team but we are not we are in a rebuilding year and you're exactly correct we have a lot of young players and a lot of new players on our roster what's great about our team is the next upcoming years have a lot of upside because we don't have the cap problems other top teams will have we are only going to get better we're not doing too badly in a rebuilding year!
