Thank you so much Julie! Frank is the best, he's such a humble, down-to-earth guy, just an all around really great friend. Also @lapidarydave is another super kind, awesome rock person on UA-cam. 💎💕
It's on my bucket list to go. There will be a gem and fossil show in my area at Roger's Plaza in Michigan for a few day at the beginning of April. I usually go to that.
This video was incredible the people are extremely knowledgeable and they all take great pride in their business they are very passionate thank you Christine for sharing what you do your collation is just beautiful I feel sooo very blessed to have come across your channel I’m a homeschool mom this has sparked my interest I definitely feel the love that all of your colleagues have in what they do ❤❤❤❤
My 2 fav. gems of all time! Etheopian welo opals and Brazilian Paraiba tourmaline. I prefer the honeycomb or snakeskin welo, so lovely. Oh, and i feel breathless when I see the neon blue or green paraiba's ❤.
I have never seen or heard of blue amber, it looks spectacular. Are the show that you go to open to the public or just for wholesale / retailers? Loved seeing all those gems, thanks for showing us.
Hi, thank you! This 22nd Street gem show and several other shows during the Tucson gem show are open to the public. There are a few other shows that are wholesale only, where a license is required and the business must be related to gems, jewelry or minerals. The blue amber is interesting isn't it?! It comes from a particular species of extinct trees, the Hymenaea protera.
Hi Katie! They're Ethiopian opal and pieces with that really exceptional glittering pattern is called "pin-fire". The darker cabochon is an Ethiopian black opal with pinfire. I'm so sorry about the audio, it was pretty loud in the main tent. I plan to invest in a new mic set, so I can mic up the vendors next time.
@christinekobzeff Thank you! Love your content. Always relaxing for me. I heard everything else fine. It's just my ears and that one part! I sometimes have to use subtitles, but even subtitles don't pick up correctly at times.
Hi! The display case is from a local store fixtures shop here in Tucson. Michael and I were browsing the used/pre-owned section of the store and found two of these cases on sale. We bought them for displaying our personal mineral collections.
Hi! Thank you! Oops you're right, I'll have to remember to get on camera in these videos a little more often. I'm so mesmerized by the crystals I forget. 🥰💕🙏
So happy to have a video of yours to view. 😊
The Opal…OMG😍
Love that you share another crystal youtuber! I cannot get enough of these type of videos xx
