Could you compare this exceed tour with the enforce tour, particularly for comfort (I’m in my 50’s lol). I suspect the exceed is more for foot speed and the enforce for comfort?

Yes, and no. The 6 month warentee is at "their" discretion of the damage and is NOT a guarantee. I had a pair that didn't last me the full 6 months and had damage on the side from sliding (not covered) AND wear at the bottom to the point you could see white rubber under the tred, (should've been covered) and they still rejected my claim. Good thing Amazon was nice enough to take them back (even after that amount of time, being a Prime member probably helps) and gave me nearly a full refund. You need to talk to these companies ahead of time before purchasing and get a written document stating exactly what does fall under warranty "specifically" so they can't F you over later. I did this with Adidas in case there was an issue I'd face in the future and have the written evidence to back me up.
I've been wearing these shoes the past 2 weeks and played a tournament in them too. I gotta say I am very impressed with the shoes. The most important think I look for in tennis shoes is comfort and these do tick the box for me. Has a lot of cushion and the mizuno size fits like a glove on my feet. The traction is superb and the durability of the sole is great. I am on the faster side on court and I grind with a lot of sprints + change of movement in my play style and these shoes held their ground. What I did find was despite the high grippiness of the shoe, if loaded with weight and directed in certain ways, i was able to slide quite a lot more on court. The first few times came as a surprise (mind the ankle) but once i got the feeling of it, i was using it more intentionally in some cases. The downside though as mentioned in this video is the tongue being too short and having not enough padding to the top. I use the runners knot and tying the laces tight digs in as there is only literally a thin piece of fabric between the laces and socks. Also with really forceful stops and change of direction, I experienced the tongue sliding a little into the shoe. Good thing is that I don't feel this happening and its just a cosmetic thing. I would love mizuno to add more of the soft "air" padding into the entirety of the tongue.

I play men's doubles tennis about 10 hours a week but play pickleball 20 hours a week. Trying to decide which one. I did purchase the Wave Enforce Tours but the bottoms only lasted 7 months of just tennis play. Thanks for your help and advice.
I’m not a fan of sticky shoes… would you say these are sticky on hard court surface or are they forgiving when sliding like the asics solution speed ff 2’s out of the box?

IMO there isn’t a thing as a pickleball shoe- for indoor basketball shoes are the play and for outdoor tennis is the way to go since the movements are all the same- but the 808 is great IMO

These shoes look great. I've been looking for a shoe for tennis/pickleball but have been having trouble finding a 4e shoe that's wide enough with a wide enough outsole. Is there any chance you could make a video for people with very wide feet like me? Every shoe I find for this sport my foot hangs over the outsole.
I’ve been really pleased with these exceed 6s so far, now 2 weeks in. They were comfy straight away, perfect for my slim feet but enough space in the toe box for long toes. Tongue is thin, but I’ve not found it an issue even with runners knot tie down. Great match shoes, super light and springy yet very stable. Review is spot on.👍🏻
First off, thanks for the review. Second, another good speed focused shoe that accommodates a wider foot. Too many lightweight "speed shoes" are on the narrow side of foot shape.
Any thoughts on using the AC version on clay? Also looking forward to a clay video for 2024 shoes! Unfortunately I don't think the clay version will come to the USA.

best tennis shoes are the trekking shoes. I have been playing in nike zegamas. My foot pain is gone. no more black toe and cushion less feel. Best shoes for playing tennis are certainly not the tennis shoes. Realized it after playing tennis for almost 11 years.
@@FootDoctorZach Thanks Zach for your advice. Actually the only reason I opted for Nike Zegamas for tennis is due to its Zoom X cushioning on the forefoot and plush feeling in the mid foot area. As tennis is primarily about dancing in a rhythm that requires players to be on their toes so it has done wonders for me and agility on the court has significantly improved. I have been playing in them for almost a year with no complaints. I am a heavy built 186cm guy who has been suffering with an ongoing knee pain especially after I play singles so kinda relived after switching to them.
I really don’t like this shoes. The toe box material is so soft and flimsy that I have absolutely no stability in them. Any hard change of direction my toes are floating side to side. Really hate that feel.

These will in clay but not the enforce- the AC will be like ice skates imo
