- Welcome back! In this video I block sand the deck lid and driver side door of my 1960 impala convertible. I use evercoat Rage body filler, SPI epoxy, and an assortment of hand blocks, 80 grit and 180 grit sunmight sand paper. Stay tuned for the upcoming body work videos. Thanks for watching

It's getting there. I'm really pressing to meet my July 4th deadline for green paint but at the same time, certain processes can't be rushed. I was taught and learned you can try and fight chemistry of chemicals but the chemicals will always win

tedious nice work, those small imperfections i wouldnt even care about but i guess after you get all the paint on it they would be noticeable to the owner who looks at it all the time

I bought that Vevor gun because of all the reviews. The 1.3 and 1.7 whistled. The 1.5 sprayed a top heavy pattern. I was hoping it would have been my my primer gun. 😔😔😔
Did u clean it first. Mine had some wax in it
@@lonestarlows Yes. First thing. I had something to spray so I disassembled it(the nozzle was a pain it was so tight). I did a real close inspection of the caps and there appeared to be burrs inside some of the fluid holes.
Disappointing...there are rave reviews of it. I rate the gun like 6 out of 10. The regulator is trash. It was jumping for 20 to 40 psi....I'm not used to sata style guns. The reason I bought it was because my epoxy gun started leaking air. So I figured why not....I wouldn't attempt base clear with it. No way lol
@@lonestarlows I returned mine. I bought another Kota(a real Sata knock off)lol, with the 1.7
I want to use the 1.7 to featherfill my car buy I also only have 1 shot at it so I'm kind of leaning towards my 2.0 that I always use....
How did you like vevor paint gun?
I like it!. I will probably only use it for epoxy. And possibly 2k primer. It puts out too much material for my speed, and would take some getting used to for base and clear, when I already have my go to guns and technique for base and clear
