Among many things that are notable about this video, I just wanted to point out that all the adults who were raving about Angelina at the end (apart from the judges, I mean) were not Angelina's family members (AFAIK). I'm not sure about the woman who calls her Jordan (which she still goes by "at home"), but the guy who talks about her singing jazz "like a god" is a friend of the family (Martin Toft, who has a YT channel), and of course the woman who talks to Angelina immediately after she exits the stage and then later says that it's "a happy day" is the show's host. There are videos of her family members talking about her during her time on the show (and immediately after she won), but they are relatively rare. And they never have the feeling of wanting to "promote" her. Her mother, in particular, who took on the job of "shepherding" Angelina through all the interviews and "b-roll" footage gathering that she was called on to participate in, always looked very uncomfortable on camera - both uncomfortable being in the public eye herself and a bit uncomfortable with all the attention her daughter was getting. In an interview just minutes after Angelina won the competition, Sara actually seemed to believe that they could all go back home and have a normal life. That poor woman…😊
When the video shows her Mother watching the performance back stage on a monitor and she had tears and put her hand to her mouth, she has said that it was at that moment that she realized the family was going to have to share Angelina with the rest of the world!
You listen to Billie Holiday's original and it becomes clear as to why all the talk about Billie being reincarnated into this 7 year old Norwegian girl. It truly sounds as if Billie sang each rendition.
I agree on how much she progressed just during the course of the show. She did an amazing job on this song for a seven-year-old but she wasn't as clear in her enunciation as she was in the later performances.

Norwegian, Swedish and Danish are very similar. When we speak with each other, we speak our own language, because we understand our different languages without any problems. But Icelandic is very hard to understand, because they still speak in a way that is quite similar to the Norse language, spoken in Scandinavia in the Viking Age (early Middle Age). There are a lot of similarities in German and Norwegian, they both belong to the Germanic language group, but they are by no means similar. Norwegian and Danish, however, are roughly 95% the same, and Swedish maybe 70%. Norwegians, Danes and Swedes understand each other perfectly well most of the time. English is mandatory in Norway from 1st grade, and German and French is optional in all Norwegian schools and Spanish is optional in most Norwegian schools. But every student HAS to take up another language in addition to English. Personally I do speak both German and French in addition to English. Thanks for your reaction Paul. Angelina did win Norway's Got Talent. Her next performance was in the Judges Cut round, where contestants had to sing a cappella, unless they also played an instrument. Angelina sang Billie Holiday's last hit, "I'm a Fool to Want You" and she was still 7 years old.

Billie Holiday is her favorite, but Ella Fitzgerald is her biggest influence. But there are a lot of influences on her that she used to create her artistry.
