It is a shame that the one giving the world the entire gyaan that FnO is not good, household funds should not enter capital markets has deep conflicts of interest. They might get protection from government, because sab mile hue hai. Two things are clear from this: 1. Capitalise the profits and socialise the losses works very well. 2. Compliance and conflict of interest failures can ruin great work of years in minutes.

Last time Hindenburg made money indirectly by short selling Adani group companies' shares just before release of its report. This one fact is an enough reason for us to believe that Hindenburg's latest release should be taken with a pinch of salt.

This is apart from Adani issue. Of course this is in public domain, shared on LinkedIn and he has not hidden anything . On Salary source Ms Buch was CEO for ICICI Securities, Mr Buch was in Unilever Singapore typically more than 2 - 3 million salary.
Domain specific functional knowledge is the least of priority while finalising on C suite executives at large corporates. Strategic thought process, proven delivery mechanisms, operational excellence and systemic innovation are things that take precedence. C suite & senior executives are mostly offered stock options whose value often supersedes their fixed salary. Aggregating INR 100 crores being part of that professional cadre while also earning in foreign currency is not difficult at all. I personally know many such individuals who have a personal net worth of at least USD 30 million solely courtesy their salary income; no investments in startups, no investment in private equity or hedge funds but purely and solely through salary income.

Dont punish yourself for their bad karma. Ignore them. Act like they dont exist. Else try to switch your job if you are really depressed .

Last time Hindenburg made money indirectly by short selling Adani group companies' shares just before release of its report. This one fact is an enough reason for us to believe that Hindenburg's latest release should be taken with a pinch of salt.

On Salary source Ms Buch was CEO for ICICI Securities, Mr Buch was in Unilever Singapore typically more than 2 - 3 million salary.
Domain specific functional knowledge is the least of priority while finalising on C suite executives at large corporates. Strategic thought process, proven delivery mechanisms, operational excellence and systemic innovation are things that take precedence. C suite & senior executives are mostly offered stock options whose value often supersedes their fixed salary. Aggregating INR 100 crores being part of that professional cadre while also earning in foreign currency is not difficult at all. I personally know many such individuals who have a personal net worth of at least USD 30 million solely courtesy their salary income; no investments in startups, no investment in private equity or hedge funds but purely and solely through salary income.

I don't think hindenburg give any such information with 100% false fact ,there is obviously always some truth behind such things.
They say market doesn’t react to same news twice. May be this will be completely ignored by Mr. Market (whether rightfully or not is a different question). But more than that I pray and wish that Basant Sir doesn’t get any more notices from these agencies specialising in selective bouts of honesty. Sir ji is the only honest and fearless person in the market who has always has retailers best interest in mind.
