    read the book "Anna Karenina" by Leo Tolstoi, please. If you are patient enough you will undestand that the story is not just about romance.

      It's not at all about romance, that's just the carrot Tolstoi lures you in with.

    I like how Kate pointed out Anna prefers and values infatuation over love.

    • @kittykatz4001
      @kittykatz4001 Місяць тому

      Anna never really had a chance to find out what love is bec she was married off at about age 18 to a 39 yo man who certainly didn’t marry her for love.
      Anna didn’t get the chance to learn the difference between infatuation and love, but she finally got to experience a “happy ending” even though Tolstoy couldn’t really put THAT in the book!

    I love when Jake asks questions asking about which of stars previous films they would choose for something and they actually pick one instead of just being really vague. It shows they still think about their past projects.

    I loved how they were all going on about love when Russia, at the time, relationships were pretty much surrogate. I call this movie, "Wealthy Russian People Problems." It's a pretty good-looking movie, but it can seem a little unorganized and not really sure what direction it wanted to go. Especially in the beginning where every transition there was a play being set up to the next scene then they just kind of stopped except every once and a while.

    I am American and I know people who have crazy or conservative do's. Both the crazy or conservative style can be going along or against the person's real personality. In Aaron's case, I feel he is shedding the idealized image that adolescents grasp onto, one that his producers may have influenced him to keep. So, in creating a new look, his is more himself, ridiculous or not. He's in his 20s for crying out loud!
    Us Americans will easily accept his look which is (I shit you not Janecynster) sexy.

    six years is a long time when you think of it. Think of a 6 and twelve year old. Obviously there's going to be a difference, mentally and physically. We get wiser and more mature as we age, every day ages us in those two senses. Some learn more in terms of maturity than others, and I think he has learned a lot through his experiences.
    Or it could simply be his personality, genetics you know.

    Pushkin and Tchaikovsky wrote letters in Russian and spoke in Russian, but of course they could speak French a lot. Keira is saying that Russian aristocrats "couldn't even speak Russian" and that is wrong. She can't even pronounce a word aristocracy! How did she pass a casting??? She obviously playing all this roles not because of the talent, but because of other things that have nothing to do with the talent. And she certainly needed to dig dipper. How did such "Vronsky" passed a casting?? bad
