You've got an excellent you tube channel. I have a Cocker pup that I am training at present, it's the first Cocker I have had. Often refer back to your channel to give me help.

This was great. Yeh my 75 year old mother is not allowed to walk my spaniels they walk to heel but they're still young and have occasional moments and she was used to my steady elderly labs broken hip waiting to happen ! Also every time she puppy sits they wrap her right around their paws by being cute and I have to retrain . Labs are so much easier but I wouldn't swap these two

We have rehomed an eight month old cocker spaniel and took your advice. its still on the lead after having him for six months. Slow slow as you say. A year on the lead is worth 10 years off. Great advice.

Charlie, been watching your channel with keen interest after getting myself a springer/cocker/collie cross - boy was i out my depth but you keep me sane, his 17 month's now, his not up to your high standard however thanks to your tips and putting in the work as you say, i get alot of complimentary comments now
On his training especially off lead, he keeps within a decent distance of me, in front where i can see him, he isnt allowed to just hoolie off over the feilds like other springers/cockers i see whizzing passed us, then watching the owners spend the rest of the walk trying to catch up with their dog or tear off to play with other dogs without my permission first, i tried to raise a trained happy go lucky lad that loves life, we have fun, his fantastic company - pulling on lead is his downfall but were working on this daily 90% his great but gets too excited at something and then pulls ( yep made the mistake in early days of a damm harness and then after he dislocated my shoulder at 7 months old and seeing one of your videos the proper training kicked in *harness in the bin 😂*) slip lead purchased. Your videos are fantastic and this podcast really interesting as it gave alot more insight to you personally and what mordor does/is about. Nice to know how much care and thought-provoking you put into where your dogs go to...... need more people like you in the world ❤

That was brilliant. Laughing out loud for the whole interview. I wanted to take the dogs out, but couldn't stop watching until it was over. Fortunately they are labs... so they just waited 😂😂😂
