Samsung has consistently impressed me with the exceptional quality and vibrancy of its photos and videos, and this comparison further solidifies its position as a leader in smartphone photography. While I felt that the shot featuring the chandelier fell slightly short of the high standard set by Samsung, every other image and video outshone its counterpart from the iPhone. The level of detail, color accuracy, and dynamic range demonstrated by Samsung is truly remarkable. In my view, Samsung remains unparalleled as the best all-rounder in the smartphone industry, delivering outstanding performance across various scenarios and proving itself as a superior choice for those who value top-tier multimedia capabilities 🗿❤️
Every time there is a comparison with a real professional camera, you realise that smartphones are not close. Even though they may appear to be close, and may even have a better dynamic range, and may be "technically" better, they are not better. A professional camera creates a different atmosphere; real depth, and effortless detail.
@keithbajracharya8875 Yes. With the current technological branch they reached the the top. That's why there is barely any improvement, and I'm not a big fan of using "AI" to create fake images, like the Chinese flagships like to do.
Please Techmo, keep yourself true to reality, independent and as technically based as possible. Your channel is the only place i actually trust nowadays. Comparing chips, photography, battery range etc. I feel like everyone else is a sold shill, too afraid of making real criticisms. This is why your channel is growing.
As a guy who edits phone pictures alot for instagram, i feel like Samsung puts the best hardware but in the end they commit a few grotesque photographic mistakes with the post processing that can break the deal for me. (Which they can correct rather easily for future phones) Over saturation, excessive shadow lifting and over sharpening. I've compared the iPhone 16 PM with the entire S24 line, and even added my old S9+ into the mix and the differences are surprising: Samsung was truer to source back then and the way they boost dark areas and grains small details sometimes render their shots worthless for a quality editing later. Its insane how hard they deviate from reality sometimes to make things pop for a better wow factor. They need to start thinking a little more like Sony in this department, which simply try to be as neutral as possible, that generates way better pics for edits.
The truth is that this 90% users doesn't have time to edit their photo and those samsung photos fill those gaps. As it's ready to post , that's why log on iphone didn't increase the sell as most users are not professional photographers to use the feature. And any professional photographers already have camera . Please let samsung keep their photos pop as that's why when I take photos at occasions everyone want me to send them the photos I took. They just want nicer looking photo and this days samsung did great at keeping true to life colors.
He's right tho This is like taking a selfie and a software cropping/pasting Henry Cavill over me _"Tadah! you see, the pictures are always great in this phone!"_ This AI crap Samsung puts in there makes me not trust it lol
Samsung does not do much processing on the image. It does not have a problem with the contrast being lower, but better than the unreal details in the iPhone. I do not like Apple’s approach in the last two years in processing images. As for the video aspect, the iPhone excels by a slight margin, and not in all circumstances
📍⚠️Clarification on moon 🌙 photo : Yes Galaxy use AI enhancement for zoomed shots but not like totally fake moon. it enhances the image data processing ( for proof testing, i have tested with Manual Video Mode where no AI or Processing done on my galaxy s23 ultra & took the moon video shot on 20x zoom & guess what it took the natural moon shot. ) Hence its not a totally fake moon shot. ( You can also test it yourself using Manual Mode )
Aside from my reply on the moon photo...a great review!! Really liked the comparison. Though, using a sony doesn't really mean you're capturing "true" colors - you're capturing sony colors. Maybe a later video could be with multiple brands - sony, fuji, ricoh, canon, nikon etc...anything that is closer to your eyes with these phones would be great
Could you do a video like this with the Vivo x200 pro and the Xiaomi 14 ultra? Since those phones have cameras which were co-engineered with actual camera companies.
Hi , I'm planning to buy S24 Ultra from dubai for 64,000 12+256gb model. Or IQOO 13 for 52k which is best option for me. Main priority is Camera and Watching content. Please suggest. Your suggestion is a lot for me, please reply
Also make sure it is the global version, with the right model number, I heard the Gulf countries have their own version and have compatibility issues with certain features.
Great video, great comparision. I am amazed with Sony FX30 because I am not much into real cameras etc... I personally thought that iPhone will win but results are here.
No way he gave the moon shot to the iPhone I rather have a shot that is processed a lot by ai but looks just like i remember rather than having a photo that looks like i took it on a 15 year old phone
The pro res part u are wrong, Samsung have raw mode which is better than ProRes, ProRes is a cut down version of raw mode, You know that, so you should have used the raw mode on an s24 ultra and you know that you can set your colors on your color grading stuff and let it stay there's, no excuse why you don't like raw mode and don't tell anybody that Samsung doesn't have ProRes, Tell them they have raw mode which is a better version of ProRes
Absolutely loved this video but I need to make sure you know that sometimes the iPhone doesn't use it telephoto lens when you do a 5x zoom. Sometimes it crops in 5 times from the main sensor. Just needed to be sure you knew about that so you can always make sure it's using its telephoto lens before you take a telephoto shot
The King 👑 is the Honor Magic 7 pro. Según el equipo de expertos de Dxomark el Honor Magic 6 pro es el segundo mejor, sin lugar a dudas el Magic 7 pro será el Rey 👑
this is from the web I wish all of you content creators stop talking about pro res like it's some holy Grail, When raw mood on Android flagship is way better For the highest image quality with the most flexibility in post-production, "raw mode" is generally considered better than ProRes, but ProRes is often preferred for its smaller file sizes and faster editing workflow, making it suitable for projects with tighter timelines or when needing to work with less powerful editing systems; essentially, choose raw for maximum creative control, and ProRes for efficient workflow and smaller file sizes.
7:35 "I rather have the crappy picture that I took myself than the AI B.S" 😂👍

Try latest Vivo x200pro then
@@huaweia1a1 not on earth, only in China lol 💀🤡🤣
I own a s22 ultra and it's camera sucks. pics are worse than the ones taken by a s20fe

Also it will take time for smartphone to have that big sensor of dslr inside it. The comparison is unfair😆

Well you not always carrying your dlsr camera with you, smartphone camera is always in your pocket.
@@huaweia1a1 😂😂 you forgot to mention, huawei beating them the most in having the best possible google services 😄 😆😜😁
some of the photos I found phones did better job than actual camera :)

@@huaweia1a1 yes bro, I'm also a Huawei fan❤️
make another comparison of vivo x100 ultra with sony alpha fx30
Or X200 ultra
1 year old galaxy 🔥

Go with what you like
2031 they say no more green dots.
Please compare with Vivo X100 Ultra Or Vivo x200 pro to for this comparison
7:41 this is wrong who have stopped iphone to use AI 😂

Do you use maximum optimization of quality and Scene optimizer ON, on Samsung?
Please use it if you want worse photos
Samsung lifted up the game with it’s latest software update.
nice one man. and all done under 10 mins with so many positions to compare.
Aside from my reply on the moon photo...a great review!! Really liked the comparison.

Also concider you can tune the camera to get whatever look you want. It doame down to what phones want the default to look like
Why didn't you apply some picture profiles on the sony camera ?
A video with sincere and objective opinions. A good job.
This is the right comparison!
Finally you did something I asked you months ago, thanks
Why there is no one making comparison between vivo's phone vs DSLR 😭
Techmo you’re the best! Can you make normal camera vs Pixel vs Samsung vs iPhone long comparison for the photos and zoom?
Could you do a video like this with the Vivo x200 pro and the Xiaomi 14 ultra? Since those phones have cameras which were co-engineered with actual camera companies.
Try one comparison among dslr , iphone and Vivo X200ultra in future
that U-Bahn looks so square! Wanna visit it someday
What I really took away from this video is to ditch my phone camera and get a real camera.
DHARIA smile is contagious 😊
Compare other flagships in the same way
Wow the S24 ultra not just hanging in there but beating the iPhone 16. Wonder if apple will ever fix the lens flair issue on thier phones 🤔
Austria looks really nice. Really making me want to go again..
Do both of you use Samsung phones?
It certainly is. No she is an iPhone user 😁
💝💝💝💝💝. Can you also compare X200 Pro? I really like this comparison idea. Viewers will get a better idea. Great video 💝💝💝
Nice video!
It'd be nice to add vivo x200 pro and sony Xperia
Can you also make a comperation video with vivo please
s24 ultra 👑👑
I never thought Samsung can beat a pole in video
Xperia 1 Mark 5 -6 👌🤷??
Galaxy💪🏾💪🏾
Samsung has ND filter inbuilt ..can you compare it with real nd filter ..nice videos by the way👍

Samsung, but wait for Samsung S25 series 🗿

wait for the release of s25 ultra, which has got the same chipset as in an IQOO 13
Too much difference...in india alsomst 1.3 lakh...OMG..

Pro camera doesn't exist 😂 pro cameraman needed
Want like this video but with vivo x200 pro and oppo find x8 pro
the moon pic from galaxy is not AI generated but you can AI enhanced
well for ai moon u could set intelligence to minimum in camera for pure shot without Ai
Yes, but shutter lag?
Still a problem on Galaxy, did show it on other videos, I forgot to do it here.
No way he gave the moon shot to the iPhone
I rather have a shot that is processed a lot by ai but looks just like i remember rather than having a photo that looks like i took it on a 15 year old phone
Kindly check 50mp and 48mp shots on both phones. Human subject on samsung at 50 mp is not good. I'm using s24 ultra.
Why ı watched this video after this sony camera ı dont want to use my phone camera (s24U)
Techmo thanks for another video. But TF is going on in comments. 😅
Galaxy for sure
Sony looks like pixel

Great video as always. I would’ve loved to see the Xperia in this comparison too since it’s also made by Sony and is touted as close to a real camera.
Thanks. I actually made one a while ago for Xperia here:
