I wonder if McMeghan could have went to Kingdra instead of Regice on the turn that Regice got crit. That would have saved a good amount of HP on Regice for the mid game and potentially could have set up for a potential Gengar Explosion KO.

You're exaggerating. While setting Rain could be called a mistake, getting critted on a mon that otherwise competently checks Milotic enough on its own was what sabotaged his chances, not the team as a whole.

regice doesnt check milotic longterm at all. thunderbolt does less then half and its slower, so eventually Milotic will toxic it and then its over

@@lxram9139 Hey buddy, since when is an offensive team focused on checking anything "long term"? It's entirely about taking the surf, threatening the thunderbolt, and then going from there, getting chip on whatever else comes in.
Sad that three other people see things your way when this is basic mons.

​@@yourdagan Point is that Regice doesn't check milotic. We have a tbolt on milo for toxic. Milo is around 60%, then a crit is needed to kill or the next tbolt will get milo down to around 20 then +50 from recover. Then if you swap milo will be back to 100%. If you swap immediately after the toxic turn milo will also be full. Regice still threatens milo because of risks of crits and para but I would say milo is favored to come out on top. Roros team overall struggled into milo I would say

@isnialan6204 And his has either Thunder Wave, Explosion, or both. We saw 2 out of 4 moves. And Thunderbolt has a para chance anyway in addition to a crit chance. It was poised to handle it. But the crit ruined all of that.
