its just a reskin of some other konami skateboarding game im pretty sure. its still really cool but not entirely done from scratch. still mgs3 has the castlevania style hack and slash nightmare sequence and i always thought that was an insane amount of work to put into an easter egg

I bought the PS2 versions of MGS2 and 3 just for this and Mesal Gear. Ran everything else on HD. Just got a little under 20 VR left in MGS2. Maybe I'll revisit that and these 2 skateboarding missions down the road when I rebuild my patience.
It saddens me that this was not in the HD versions. Not even on PlayStation consoles. This man knows how to skate. I like how they have an edited version of one the MGS soundtracks for this mini game.

I remember when Substance launched and most guys in our generation had already been playing THPS. Konami threw in a genuinely fun skating game and somehow it didn't seem weird to us or out of place. We were ready for it.
