With the way the mushroom randomly breaks the laws of physics and your visceral screams of terror, Green Demon sounds fking terrifying. I'd never be able to look at a green mushroom and not have my pulse spike.

I remember watching two Japanese dudes doing the Green Demon challenge on UA-cam a long time ago. I couldn't understand anything they said but their panicked and frantic screaming was the funniest shit.

There aren't as many items to Randomize as any of the Zelda Randos... But this randomizer can hurt you in other ways.

Infinite lives would make this challenge a lot more bearable. Also trying to outswim the shroom was amazing

I'm very late to the party so someone has mentioned this but The Green Demon Challenge was a self imposed challenge before the time of randomizers (like a Nuzlocke in Pokemon). There were only a few levels with a following Green Mushroom so it was a small challenge but still.
