I wonder how much of this performance was inspired by Linda Ronstadt's songs with the Nelson Riddle Orchestra. If you like a gorgeous dark-haired soulful singer performing while seated in a moon hung from cables, search "Linda Ronstadt & Nelson Riddle Orchestra Complete" at minute 18 where she sings "Falling In Love Again" with a jazz pianist and orchestra in 1984 (before Kacey was born.) Of course, Linda and Kacey are both bringing back the 1940s-era look and feel and the American female vocalists' styles then.
I ordinarily don't care for what people laughingly call country music nowadays, but this girl is different. She has that certain spark! I love her voice and style; soothing and smooth as silk! She's going to the top! I just hope the limelight doesn't ruin her as so many others.
