I use to fast every Sunday & Wednesday & throughout the day I would pray for people who don't have food. I would partake in only a day in their suffering & pray for God to come soon to end poverty & starvation. I'm fasting today & going to stay faithful in fasting.

It’s always good to allow The Spirit of God to lead you into fasting, He makes it possible for you to succeed. During fasting, if temptation shows up, take some time and go into worship and The Lord will strengthen and make you victorious. Thanks for the word of wisdom.

Fasting is one the ways in building our spiritual muscles, so effectively, it benefits not only the spirit but serves as detoxification to our physical body. I have been taken Mondays as my fasting day in a week for over 20 years and no regrets. Bless you sister

This really convicted me . I’ve just got off a 8 day fast and I feel like I hardly heard from God . I did randomly jump into it because and thought it would be good to fast through Halloween . I did find myself still getting on social media sometimes during my fast and not spending as much time due to working 8-12 hours a day . I feel like I completely did it in vain because I wasn’t connected enough . Makes me kinda ashamed .

The lord reminded me about this 5yrs ago , i was about to eat after my fast and as i took up the plate i heard the lord said to
me its not about the food its about his praise i had to drop the plate and bow down and worship God almighty i recalled hearing my self saying mama mama
The next day i got a call my mom was at that time having surgery
God is amazing he wanted me to go in deep worship for my mom
And yes the lord knows the whole fast i was thinking and couldn't wait to go have that fried sweet plantains
I tried not to fast with plantains in my vicinity Glory to God!!

Thank you!! Fasting is truly an incredible tool for healing and connecting with the Lord. Cutting carbs and practicing intermittent fasting helped me work up to longer fasts-I highly recommend anyone who is struggling to do those two things gradually in order to get your body more prepared. Also- a pinch of sea salt or pink salt in some warm water can help you feel satiated if you feel like you're getting too hungry. Blessings!!

SO HELPFUL!!! I think a misunderstanding of how to fast properly is what can turn people off from fasting entirely. But this is encouraging to me and makes me WANT to fast because I know there are results I can look forward to when I do it effectively. I think we can sometimes just jump into it or obligate ourselves to do it, then it automatically makes it not enjoyable. I should have known this is not how the Lord wants it. Lord, thank You for helping us Your people! I pray for whoever reads this and has felt obligated to fast, but didn’t really understand the why or how! God bless your understanding to be opened!! ❤️

You said something that I never heard before, you said: planing, thinking about what we are doing, we are going to spend time with our Lord, He has desires to have us in His presence. Just yesterday I was fasting but I was not spending time with God, I didn't prepare and it got me worried because I didn't have time to pray and read the word as I was supposed to. My sister left us this November 2020,A suddenly death she was not sick get off from the office she reaches home and took an evening nap she never wake up! As I was stepping this November my heart tells me to fast on 1.11 I decided to take a a week fasting this is useful thank you

You are the first pastor I have heard giving a proper, meaningful and accurate leading about Fasting. One question which comes often to my mind is if there are restrictions on what kind of food we can eat or not. Some preachers say not to drink milk. Should there be emphasis on what we can take in? Would you be kind to make a full lesson for this in future? This is a very important and powerful act of worship.

I was thinking about fasting today for some important urgent needs, family and friends. I find fasting while at work difficult, cause at times someone will come along and offend you. So you end up trying to avoid issues etc. You lose focus, become angry now you're praying for something else. I have struggled with avoiding tea when I fast. I over do it and need strength to keep a fast minus the tea and sugars. Thanks for sharing, I especially liked the charity when fasting, I remember doing this some time ago as I found this in the scriptures. Special 🙏

good afternoon my sister i love watching you from lusaka zambia ..amen am so blessed as i fast today and came across your you tube
Fasting is not usual in my country, I thought it was impossible.My husband is a muslim so I tried Rhamadan with him once and found out it was so much easier than people say.So after that, I started doing my own intermittent fasting ,and sometimes a whole day ,but I am not so very clever in how to do it,I just stop eating and sometimes stop drinking water also and that's it. My blood sugar level stays stabile thanks God even though I'm 61.I do it as a gift to God to show I believe His words:Man dont live by bread alone,but of every word that comes out of the mouth of God.I am sure humans can live well for weeks without food,if they only get some water and receive words from the Lord...This advice from Chantal and others here was very useful as I am fasting just now.Thanks to the Lord and may He bless everyone that wants to fast.Amen .With love from Norway.
