    Very Satisfying......Crystal clear video, great lighting, background music, lots of satisfying Clicking and Snapping sounds going on there.....Nice!

    Wiem Szaju, że chciałeś zrobić szybkie przedstawienie montażu, ale dwie kwestie wymagają sprostowania:
    1. Używajcie TL-EW02. (to szeroko dostępny klucz, a bez niego mogą odrzucić reklamację uszkodzonego kabla [kombinerkami?!, przecież ten rower jeszcze nie zaczął jeździć a wtyczki przy silniku wyglądają jak by je coś przejechało...])
    2. TL-FC39 to niezbędny klucz do montażu zębatki, nowy silnik przychodzi bez mocowania ("pająka" zębatki przedniej) które tutaj jest prezentuje na filmie jako część całej jednostki.
    1. Use: TL-EW02. (this is simple tool, without it, you can lose warranty if uou broke cable or sth)
    2. You propably don't have TL-FC39, but it will be nesessery if someone want to replace unit. (to get on place chainring mount)

    That exposed foam around the motor looks concerning. Can see a lot of crap getting jammed in there

    Awesome video, but how do you connect the tiny power wire to display unit on the handlebar?

    Do you think it's easy to remove the battery and motor of an Orbea Rise?

    • @edgardomunoz6611
      @edgardomunoz6611 2 роки тому +1

      Done it. There are several frame design differences that make it much harder in the case of the Rise. Most notably, the front end needs to be placed first, in between spacers that are very tight, and keep falling out of place while you jam the motor in place. This Merida is specifically designed for easy ep8 install.

    Hi! If I want to use SRAM eagle transmission, can I use the same crank Spider and put a 104 BCD SRAM XSYNC-2 chainring? What about the chainline? Thanks!

    great, one question tho - is there a sensor that goes on the back wheel so the bikes knows how fast you're going?

    is it true that these only go 20 thousand kilometres at most, before they're toast? so about 10 cents per kilometre just for the motor?

    • @cannondany
      @cannondany  4 роки тому +2

      So far I made about 10000 km on the E8000 and it works great.

      I think that sounds about right considering these are none serviceable units, not designed to be serviced by it's owner, not that they can't be repaired but for your average mechanic this will likely be a big undertaking and then finding the replacement parts for it, this is why i just stick to higher powered hub motors instead, cheap, reliable but effective enough.

    Did you glue the damping foam on the motor or was it already on the motor. I want to build an e-bike on my own and am looking for good damping of the motor. Can you give me some advice, what is suitable for that? Thanks

    Can anybody tell me if it's possible to fit some cranks with integrated powermeters to this motor and if so which? I would like to have my rider power tracked via ANT+. Specialized has that integrated in their system but as far as I know the EP8 is not broadcasting that data via ANT+ 😞

    Zdecydowanie polecam jednak przednią zębatkę stalową bo ta sprawia wrażenie aluminiowej. Przy wadze elektryka nie ma to znaczenia a trwałość znacznie większa i wolniejsze zużywanie także łańcucha

    I'm not seeing anything that would prevent retrofit to e7000/e8000 bikes. Wonder what the true compatibility is with older hardware/harness etc. I know Shimano won't sell aftermarket but sometimes enterprising people find a way...
