This movie was a great movie it captures the true essence of what one goes through in a relationship a lot of parts reminded me of my relationship and what I went through even the difficulties of stain this movie was very powerful the underlying Secrets one would keep and still at the end was heartfelt and inspiring this movie moved me to the Core it's a movie that you can watch over and over and over again.

Saw this yesterday with my Husband. I almost lost him to a mass in his colon in 2014, he did no Chemo, only targeted treatments. It pays to have a Husband (ME) that is a PA-C in Cardiology, Oncology, Epidemiology & Infectious diseases for over 40 years. I was working in the Cancer industry after the AIDS crisis simmered down, it is a business of taking your money/insurance and legally murdering people. I know Michael did not want the movie to be about the truth of how chemo kills but he did have it in the movie as it would have taken away the story of Love, yet when Jim's character portraying him began to talk about targeted treatments in Germany and Europe that said enough. You always start with radiation and targeted therapy and never do Chemo...EVER!
That made be so sad, and most do not know the truth, chemo contains carcinogens and, you cannot poison a body back to health. I was told to push chemo, not tell them they could refuse treatment, they could get other opinions. The 2 oncologists in this film in the 1st part worked in tandem, we did that, told people it was not aggressive so the cancer could get to Stage 4, then push chemo a truly corrupt Industry!
A big trigger here as I watched oncologists pushing chemo on my husband and not knowing my credentials and knowing their game.
Great film, I loved the way they always looked at each other.

Acting on film must be so hard. Getting things right with all that crew around just for a few lines. Plus retakes and adjustments.
I've done some stage acting (horrifying!) and there are more lines to learn but all the rehearsing that goes into it sort of puts everything down to muscle memory.

Listen, I really like Jim Parsons and his acting. I don’t know the other guy at all. However, I’m never gonna want to watch a love story between two guys. I’m not ever going to want to watch a love story between two women either. No.
