hope deserves so much more than this. shes been through so much pain, i want the writers for hope to be happy
Honestly I’ve been waiting for hope to activate her vampire side and turn her humanity off but she’s pretty strong considering that she hasn’t done that yet
I typed this crap and realized I didn't even say anything about the video like a bastard. How rude. This video is AMAZING!! It shows just how much Hope has gone through and the fact that she keeps going is a testament to just how strong she is as a character. She's easily the second best fictional character ever created in my opinion. Great job!!!
I've never been a Handon fan and celebrated when they gave the couple the Buffy/Angel treatment but my heart did break for Hope - she deserves the world. I've been dogging the series about how boxed in they've made Hope, how it's always been about Landon, Landon, Landon. But as season 3 progresses, I realized two things after tonight's episode...one - her obsession is the manifestion of the Mikaelson instability, which doesn't bode well and I think is an omen to what's to come...and two - the entire Landon arc, three entire seasons....aren't even about him...they're about Hope and it's leading up to something - something big and will launch Hope as the character she'll be as an adult.
Now...my brain is racing through possibilities after coming to these conclusions...the one that raised the biggest flag....is that if I'm right and there'll be a divide between Hope in seasons 1-3 and who she becomes later...especially in terms of her trauma and her family's history of instability...I think what's happening is that we've seen Hope as the hero, the protector, the force for good...but...she's a Mikaelson...her family are the monsters in everyone's story and we still haven't seen DARK Hope...and if she becomes a vampire - she'll go off the deep end because that exagerates everything about you - and there's a lot about Hope that she keeps up locked up tight - suppresses for the sake of everyone around her or is in denial to herself.
I think what we're going to get is Dark Hope - rebellious, ruthless, uncompassionate, unforgiving, no-holds-barred Hope. Someone who will make Dark Josie look like a fire cracker. We'll not only see the full terrifying capabilities of what a tribrid really is (if the writers don't fuck it up) but we'll (and the other characters) will appreciate and realize just how imperative they get the old Hope back, to get her to come back to them - to become the force for good rather than the thing that has terrified people since before she was born. (and moving forward from there, even if Hope comes back to the good, people will remember what Dark Hope was like, what she's actually capable of - and of course Hope herself would be forever touched by that change - she'll be a different person - a balance between the two versions of herself.
firstly, tysm!! im so glad you liked it! secondly i hope that youre right cause this development would be sucha great pay off after everything (also love the comparison to angel and buffy). I really hope we get to see her proper dark side cause it would be the perfect climax to her development imo. i hope the writers dont fuck it up to cause it could be so great seeing her able to finally balance herself like you said!

After originals ended, I was reallllyyy sad like not eating properly and all... And that too with the ending scene, it made it worse.. these edits are the only thing that is as beautiful as the series which Im over itt... To sum it up, your edits are soooooo nicee
