Thankful for a the ability to change spikes, when paying upwards of 120 dollars for a super spike, the spikes should be removable and glad they are. These look absolutely fire. New balance really though out every detail

I’m going to have my first ever cross country race (5K) this October with 54 years young, I’ll getting NB instead Dragonfly according with some reviews that I saw for these shoes (but for track race) and I think they had same technology for XC shoes, will see. Thanks for this video.
There are blank spikes that can be used in the spike holes, but they can compromise traction on XC surfaces. Many choose to race in road racing super shoes if they need a spikeless XC option.
Unless there is very minor cement crossings (99%dirt/grass), this shoe would not be recommended for any road use. Spikes just dont work well on asphault/cement and if you go spikeless, the cement will tear up the receptacles. -Connor
@@sikone1724 Using this shoe without the spikes inserted has the potential to damage the spike holes and cause issues with inserting the spikes in the future. If you are looking for the benefits of a super shoe in a spikeless option, we recommend choosing a low stack road racing flat like the Nike Streakfly sinse there are no spikeless XC flats with super shoe technologies at this time.

I went nb over the dragonflies. They are a lot lighter with a carbon plate instead of a nylon plate

could this work on cement courses?

@@runningwarehouseAre there any other problems that would occur on cement because I don’t really plan on using the spike holes
