I see a lot of vids of guys fishing those Sebiles in the canals on the east coast. You would probably crush it using on stripers in the Delta or in the river or maybe even in the aqueduct.

I would say just run a 10# 12"dropper on your weight to make sure you dont snag up a spendy lure. At least if you snag the weight, you dont lose the bait. Just a thought. Tight lines!

Nice video. Boy the fog moved in quickly. Otherwise, your sky/water colors were fabulous. Are you always comfortable in the gear you need to wear? That looked like your favorite rock spot for big bottom fish but it's not much fun to launch and to beach in that area. Very nice looking rod lots of flex and guides. Maybe better to advertise that than shaver/razors and non fishing stuff? But one needs to gather up what you can when you can.
I have two battle glass rods I use for plunking here in Washington state. They're a great rod for the price.

I almost had a bad experience fighting Big fish to the side of the kayak. Line broke n almost fell backward into the water. I always fight the fish from the front now.

@@camcam3087 possibly but if the line snap from fray line or by the teeth of the fish, your momentum will go whichever way you are leaning..
i have watch guys on the beach fighting a big fish and pulling the rod back and the line snap and they tumble back.. try that in a kayak.
