    I don’t even worry about week to week sales, I think if you try to micro manage your business to much ie looking at your daily sales it will drive you insane. Yes you’ll get some bad days but if your quarterly figures stay about the same, I wouldn’t worry to much. In times like this cash is king. When I built my business up I always ensured I had the equivalent of 6 months wages banked, to allow for ill health etc. Hard times are great for assessing how lean your business is and ways you can save pennies here and there. Good luck for the future.

      Ye I always tell people to look at your month to month rather than weekly so I need to take my own advice, although it’s been a poor few weeks. I have back up. It was just as much to demonstrate to folk that it’s not all roses. Thanks for watching.

    Hi Chris, the pressure on full time resellers during lockdown must be massive. You can normally list your way out of trouble but that can't be easy with sourcing options being slim pickings. I am sure sells will pick up👍

    • @CookieTheHaydens
      @CookieTheHaydens  3 роки тому

      I don’t have a problem sourcing, I can buy plenty online. The first lockdown sales went crazy the rest have been a lot quieter, this one in particular people seem to be battening down for the winter and not buying a thing.

    There is a seasonality to everything. January is famous for weight loss & diets so anything connected to fitness sells well. Throw in Covid restrictions & I guess anything connected with home education is also fast selling. The slump if there is one must be around collectables & non essentials. Depending on what I had in my death pile I would be listing clothing as all the shops are closed & holidng back on the run of the mill media. You would not expect a warm jumper to fly off the shelf in July but now you would. Best of luck & fingers crossed it gets better.
