Beautiful boat, man. I just mounted a 2001 300X onto a 1989 20 foot Arriva "Ski." Mine weight about 1000 pounds more than yours. I have no idea what to expect. I had a 1991 Yamaha 225 on it, which I thought would get me 60 mph. Sadly, it only does 51. So... the 300X is my solution, hoping for 70+. I'm at 6400' elevation. What is you elevation here? Thanks!
Good question. If the budget was big and you wanted to fly, the 300R, or the 250R. An Evinrude G2 250HO is a great choice too. For good bang for the buck, the Merc V6 225 would be interesting to try.
You said something about the transom being replaced. Is that something that happened to all 1997 Pulsare 2100. I am thinking of buying one and don't want to buy a new transom right away.
It can happen to any boat with a wood transom, all wood will eventually rot if exposed to moisture. Inspect carefully it might be okay. It is repairable, not the end of the world.
@@WavetoWaveBoats Lovely boat! Amazing that it's family kept since new. Never sell it. Who repaired the transom and how much did it cost to fix if you don't mind me asking.
It really depends on the year and overall condition. Engine etc. This one is older but in really good shape. They still make this boat, so obviously there is a large range.
Wave to Wave I believe I was running a 23P tempest with medium vents. Sold the boat about 6 years ago, loved it. Wish I still had it. I had white gel coat with teal and purple accents. Red looks good.
Great boat.. love old checkmates hope to own one some day.
I’m currently looking for one I’ve got 10k for something like this but having a hard time finding one
checkmates were a beast in there day Great video!!!
Thanks for sharing. Its nice to see a real speed boat.
Beautiful Pulsare
I had a 2100BR with an 225 optimax, she would top out at 80mph! That thing ran like a sewing machine, quiet and smooth!
Beautiful
Beautiful boat,, how can I find one. Love the classics
I had the 2003 bowrider version with a 225 Opti, it was the fastest outboard boat I ever owned, 80mph!!
Wow. Very nice boat.
More!!!
Awesome boat
Give us more of that Jared :)

very nice 👌💖
I would like to know what is the fuel consumption on cruise speed.
No data.
Coral Gables 🌴🇺🇸 Be nice to see a classic DONZI Hornet bench seat model ? ? Know of any ? 🏄
If you had too change this engine on this boat what is your choice for a brand New motor?

Anyway all your choices are way more powerful then the 200 EFI should be fun. 300 should scare Anybody haha
@@louis-martint6604 Nothing wrong with a 200 on there. New 200 should be around 72-74 mph
I know this boat is in great shape
Wave to Wave how fast do you think one of these would run with a 225 the same year of the one in the video?

How much is something like this?

Price please
24 chopper a better prop for this boat.
I have a Starflite 21' with a Yamaha 220hp Special and 24-P Yamaha drag prop hitting 74mph with no jackplate
I had one of these rigged the same way, 72-73 mph setup
Sounds about right, not the best setup for this boat. What prop?

@@skatr186 Ya, a 23" probably won't get you 72, on GPS anyway.
With a 200 and GPS 60s Can’t see this heavy boat doing low 70s with a 200
@@jimmycline4778 GPS was 70. It's pretty light, 1,300 lbs.
78 with tower of power was scarry
