I subbed after listening without skipping. Your review so practical up to the description of the lumbar pillow which no reviewers bother to address properly. (i can also read product specs like all normal reviewers). Besides, I also have to make a purchasing decision between Andaseat Kaiser and Secretlab Titan Evo 2022. Your video definitely helped me in taking notes.

In re: the neck pillow: I saw a short video with a company rep talking about the chair at a convention. He had the strap hung over the top of the chair so he could pop it on and off easily, and it rested in the same spot yours does. That might be a good option for that issue.

IS going to be ALWAYS like that, gaming chairs are so unnatural for sitting.
The Aeron better win, considering it can cost upwards of 3x as much.
Still, if you weight more than 300lbs, you're better off spending the 500 for the Kaiser than hoping your 1000-1500 dollar Aeron is stronger than advertised at 300lbs.

How does this compare to the ewin flash xl? Which one would you choose and why?

How do you feel about the Embody ? Trying to decide between Secret Labs / Embody / Aeron at the moment.
I am testing a secret labs now. For my back, the Aeron still takes it but secret labs is a really great chair, especially for the lean back feature when consuming media. I can't say about the embody...I haven't used it :( I will say nothing beats mesh when it comes to breathability

I like this chair, I really do that being the Anda seat and I know Aerons are really comfratable but for 400 I can get a skyhawk from LF gaming. The reason I would pick the skyhawk over Anda seat is simple, it's not to gamery and it looks like a true ergonomic chair with a leather seat. This company makes chairs that cost almost 2 Grand and while, I would never pay 2 grand for a gaming chair I have a little bit more security knowing that this company has invested so much in making high end chairs. The skyhawk is priced at 445 but with there coupon it is 400 with shipping and that's 100 less than a Anda seat.

Ordering this chair in BMW red, strange that the lumbar support cushion don't have straps to adjust so it's not just sitting and sliding on the chair. I saw other reviews where the red did version did have the straps.

I noticed in some other photos of the new models, there are straps to hold up the lower lumber cushion. Was there anything else in the box?
Nope. There would be nowhere to put the straps either. The kaiser 2 is one of their newer models too. Strange!
@@Ahnestly the photos I’ve seen on the AndaSeat Facebook page show the straps going through the two holes at the top and around the sides also. This is on the Fnatic model which is very similar to the Kaiser.

@@Ahnestly Thank you for the reply. I have the size C aeron at work and my hips are very big. So even with the size C aeron my thighs and hips almost cover the whole seat. I'm thinking of buying the fnatic edition of this chair and the angled sides have me worried that I might be uncomfortable with my hips brushing up against the angled sides-- are the sides soft enough that I wouldn't be uncomfortable? All raised sides on gaming chairs are extremely hard. This is why the titan evo 2022 is my gaming chair of choice - it got rid of those! Check out my sizing guide and if you decide to pick up, please consider using my links!! Helps the channel a lot!

Dude.... thank you so much for the backrest tip for tall people! I feel like an idiot now. I see yours has a little "wiggle" too when you rock in a locked position. I'm assuming this is normal and expected? I find it kind of annoying but I don't know if that's a build defect or if it's just faulty. I'd appreciate your help.
Yeah almost all chairs have a slight give! I imagine for the weight of this chair, you might have a bit more than most chairs!

Slightly late to the party here but I'm investigating a new chair for gaming and home office. I'm a chunky guy that's a bit wide-of-hip. Gaming chairs are notoriously narrow and it would appear that this chair is no different - with a seat width of 42cm excluding the wings (58cm including wings). Now I have an office chair that is 50cm wide before the plastic of the arm rest and that's just about enough to fit my frame.
I want this chair though because of the PVC leather and the comfort levels. And just the overall quality, by the looks of it.
So my question is simple - are the wings soft and flexible enough to not cause discomfort if pushed aside by a wider person?
They're softer than something like the Secret Lab chairs, but they're meant to "cup" you, not have you put your legs on them. I recommend you pick up a chair with a flat seat pan., which means gaming chairs may not be the right fit for you
@@Ahnestly Thank you for replying 😁 its a shame really because the chair looks so good and seems so comfortable in all the ways I want, and I'm struggling to find "reasonably priced" high-back office chairs that are comfortable, fit me, made of decent materials, and aren't gonna squeak or break 2 weeks after my admittedly heavy use.

@@Nigel__ went with the Secretlab Titan XL because the seat pan is much much more flat, and it's lovely. A little firm at first in general and you wonder to yourself how this is gonna be comfortable and then a week or so later you just wanna sit in it forever. 😁
Your mileage may vary, but I'm very happy with it, although I'm still a fan of the look of the Andaseat.
I notice a lot of the new Anda chairs have straps for the Lumbar support pillow. Are you sure this one doesn’t come with them?
Nope. There would be nowhere to put the straps either. The kaiser 2 is one of their newer models too. Strange!
Ahnestly interesting. I’m from Australia. None of the chair makers are clear with what you get or what model is what. I’ve seen Fnatic versions with the strap and some without but there has only been one version. Weird. Thanks for replying!

I reduce the tension in the spring, put my feet up on my desk and lean back in my Aeron when I want to watch or read something :) I tried out a few of the gaming chairs at local stores years ago but found all of them to be a waste of money. And it's not like they hold their resale value like the Aeron

Subbed. Came here for the chairs (just happen to be on the market), but honestly I spend more time watching tech videos. Your main Aeron review had some serious production quality, which I know is a lot of work. Anyway thanks for contrasting the two chairs. The “leather” on the Anda Seat is just a PVC faux leather which is at least better than the bonded leather on the $150-$400 chairs I’m used to buying/using (of course *real* leather is far too expensive to put into a chair that size for only $450). One reason why I like the Aeron since it still provides comfort but without the cost issues like you get with leather (plus some other benefits, e.g. cooler and good airflow); cost with that chair comes from other things. I was looking at a fully (real) leather chair with similar size, comfort levels and configurability to that Anda Seat but it was in the price range of $4k 😏 Can buy a lot of Anda Seats for that much.
Hahah the Secret Lab Napa Leather is only $800! I really like the Secret Lab chair....review should be out in the next 1-2 weeks depending on my work schedule...

I hear ya! There might be a way to adjust it under the chair - try removing the arms and see if there's a hole closer to the body!
Darn. And here i thought this might be the big boy chair for me. Every time i see your reviews i think ill find something besides a $1500 Aeron. The only other one that might work is the Omega.
Check out the mavix review. That chair might be worth considering, but imho, if you're going to spend $800-100, might as well get the warranty of a HM for a free hundred more...

I don't recommend it at 4'9. This chair is the XL of gaming chairs. You could tuck your legs in, but if you ever wanted a chair for long work sessions, it won't be the best fit

I would recommend you check out my Aeron video and see if you can find yourself a size A. Sometimes Size As are cheaper because the general population would use a size B/C.

i realise you can't rest your feet entirely flat on the floor. May I know what's your height? My height is 174 cm. I wonder if i were to use the Kaiser 2, can I rest my feet flat on the floor?
I am about 5'6 and have short legs...if you're taller, you should be OK. Otherwise, get a foot rest, which is fairly cheap. I recommend a foot rest for most people though

While I am not a gamer, it sounds like it would be a great chair for the living room but not for sitting at a computer for an extended period of time. I would have thought that the needs of a gamer would be similar to the needs of someone working on a computer all day.
For working on a computer all day, I need a chair that has great lumbar support and has good ventilation. Gaming chairs look cool but to me look like they were designed for style and not sitting at a computer for an extended period of time.

Hey Dude, I checked the price of Aeron before I bought one kaiser 2, Aeron costs about $1000!!!, It is not fair to compare a $479 gaming chair product with another $1000 ergo chair. My friend told me to buy some second-hand Aeron, but I can not accept the chairs with other guys' sweat and fart smell...😫. The gaming chair is not so outstanding in terms of ergonomic design when compares to Aeron, but it definitely worths the price!
The only reason I Compared them was because I made a video on how to get an aeron used and it blew up to half a million views, so just wanted to compare it with what I know. I’ve never used a gaming chair, so I was just comparing the 2 for fun, not a serious comparison!

It's still made from a material that doesn't breathe and will eventually end up cracking. The pillow elastic will end up sagging.
The setup encourages slouching. And the last thing I want is furniture covered in giant corporate logos. Hard pass.
