Was wondering if u had any suggestions.right before it stopped working. The speaker s were cutting in and out due. To a loose wirenut and I kept playing it. I have 8 speakers ayf and 15 sub 4 of which bridged on front n I have 4 bridged xx 3 on the rear both in series and PARRAL. To keep it at 4 ohms. I enjoy your videos thank you.
Great work bro
Nice job my man
I cant believe they actually use 3.5" floppy drive header connectors to supply 7+ kW of power to the audio output board. Like, what???
is that a jbl behind you on your left? love those amps
Good Day bro I would like to ask u for some advice on a Lanzar Amplifier if u mind, thanks
Wat time in your country I am working on a Lanzar 2000 class D optic drive my question to you is have you ever work on that kind of amplifier if you do is there supposed to be frequency on the high side and also the low side gate on the output
Hello bro. I have a opti 6000d amp. What is the source voltage range for this amp. 9-18?
Hi man could you recommend me an osciloscope im trying to do car amps repair every day? Im looking for an inesxpensive scope may be used but good.
@barevids
Can you fix my Optidrive 11000D? When I turn the volume up the subs pop really bad.
Hello sir I open class ab amplifier (Chinese) it use +-22 volt rail voltage.is class d use same or more than that , sir you are expert please tell me what rail voltage used in best class d car amplifier??
Ah man wow, mad to think something so small cost you all that time!
Hi Sam. I have the same amps as these in Australia. Just under a different brand (us audio)
I have 4 b2 audio rage XL 15s dual 2ohm.
As I'm running 2 of these amps currently wired 2 subs per amp (2ohm)
BUT (haha) I wanna strap both amps to 1ohm. I understand strapping half's the load so will be 0.5ohm🤔
After box rise do u think these are ok to run strapped on 0.5ohm or u rekon smoke??
Have pretty good voltage 5x 130ah agms don't go below 12.5....
Thoughts ? Too risky? Love to hear you're opinion. Love ya vids man 😁
These are actually officially rated for 7k at 0.5 so you'll be fine! Just expect the efficiency to be absolutely terrible.
@@barevids ah ok under the brand name 'us audio' they only list 5150rms at 1ohm. No listing for 0.5ohm. was just a bit worried of blowing them up.
I'll keep a close eye on them 😉
Thanks for you're help I appreciate the fast response coz gonna go for a test run soon 😊
hello friend I was wondering if you could help me find a driver board for a Lanzar 1000D opti?? Thanks
Is the glass diode a Zener diode ?
is that a jbl behind you on your left?
Muy buen video , habla mas en español en tus videos por favor , gracias saludos desde mexico
Hey Sam I have the same amp and just arrived at a comp here is Brisbane. And something went wrong with the strap cable and got a bunch of smoke came out of the amp 😩
I'm gonna open it up when I get home see what happened. Is this the best way I can contact u for a bit of guidence? I can pay u for you're time via chat?? I assume something on the pre amp board went.
Yeah hit me up on facebook NSV Audio
sam can you recommend a shop in europe or in the UK that can deliver High output Alternators for a Opel/vauxhall? i live in the Netherlands and here we only can get stock alts.
Mr Rez has to be customised alt for vauxhalls. U can get factory unit improved but costs a bomb for a poxy extra 30 or 40 amps.
Lee Coupland so in other words, its not wort it.
Mr Rez if you find a person within the us who can build an willing to ship then why not just go that route?
Opel/vauxhall has along history with Gm (Chevrolet)
You know that you love that "us amps" really 😂
How to remove the board on lanzar
I have a Opti 11k that plays but starts to fade once the power is increased. Any ideas?
Better ground!! That is of course, your electrical is up to par
@The Ace TroubleShooter I have honestly never used the amp it was something I got in trade. My current set well installed no worries there.
I always heard lanzar was garbage at least in the States. Is that your experience too? What do you like the most/least? Thanks
Lanzar subwoofers was good in 90`s
Their stuff used to be superb. These days, the build quality is HORRIBLE cheap. BUT... the amps do generally do their rated power. I suggest if you want to take advantage of this, since theyre pretty cheap to buy new, is once purchased send them to an amp tech and have improvements made to prevent vibration damage. Thats the number 1 thing that kills these amps. If you can prevent vibration damage, they should be pretty solid and do fair power.
Lanzar, Mtx, Rockford. 90.`s. very much use.
barevids I would never put this in my vehicle but this is great info for someone that's been out of the game for a bit
When are you going to design and market your own amps?
When I feel I have enough knowledge to offer something worthy.
barevids I think your ready 👍🏼
Nope, long way off yet buddy
whats up sam
I have one available that needs fixed are you available to fix?
Are you in the UK?
@@barevids No usa
The board looks just like the AA 500.1 (addictive audio 5k)
Is there a good repair guy like you in the Western Unted States?
No idea, but im sure there will be!
FlexYoFace Chase if u have Facebook contact Kevin Mansky he also does great repairs and he can clamp your amp to let u know what kinda power it's capable of
George sanchez rf beast
Due to the time to repair and cost of the item, there are few techs still in consumer electronics. I moved away from consumer electronics into commercial electronics as semi conductor manufacturing equipment that needs repair is generally in excess of a million to purchase, so the priority is to support commercial customers as either an FSE or engineering technician. I just don't have enough free weekends and evenings to play with the drain of equipment without service manuals.
I make as much in a week as I used to make in a month. Finish your schooling, get more practical experience fighting the hard ones, take some engineering classes, and move into commercial electronics.
As seen in the video it can be a real time sink which a customer may not want to pay your rate. It is fun to remember what my earlier days were like before I continued my education into engineering. It is more fun to work with sub micron tolerances in lithography equipment for IC manufacture. If you need to find a qualified tech in your area, you might check with ISCET and find what shops have certified electronics technicians in your area that still work on consumer electronics.
When I do audio, I only touch commercial pro sound now. The ability to find and fix problems quickly and accurately is a skill in high demand. Some fields don't want to pay for the skill, so the field has fewer good techs. When VCR's were a grand, they were worth repairing. I exited consumer electronics when a replacement drum was $40 and two hours labor for alignment and troubleshooting added another $70 and new VCR's were under $200, many techs left the consumer electronics field.
In Cali you gane Steve Mantz the owner of zed audio
Barevids this was same boards as the 500.1 addictive
after 2004 05 u.s amps is R.E audio u.s amps was sold to R.E sad to say . dirk ecker still designs them story is jack the owner of u.s had problems with his marriage and sold the company
Same amp as addictive audio
I just noticed to. Had an AA 500.1 that I ended up with in a trade. It ended up with the exact same problem as this one...
(Was a decent Amp when it worked. Had it on a single zv4 sundown 15 and hit a 148.9 in a single cab truck)
RIP AMP
Is that a fucking Crown amp in the background?!
Haha theres all sorts in here. Few crowns, american aussie lateral mosfet amp, oldschool USamps, Genesis limited edition 8ch class A... :)
There is no way that board can produce 7kWatts!!!
Will run around 4-5k.
@@brianreed5686, I am ipressed! Nice of you to reply after 3 years... :))))
@@gab3617 I just happened to run across this video. The board is the same as an AA 500.1 , i had 2 of them way back in the day and they pushed about 4500 clamped at a half ohm.
