The clear revelation of house bassline theory in this makes producing house bassline simple. Understandind is much better than instruction and you are sharing understandning.
Thank you Stranjah, I've been playing bass for 25 years and this has added to my understanding of patterns when it comes to crossing over into House. This was as useful as the Drum Pattern templates you shared with us. Keep up the great work my man.
Hey man, glad to see your doing better since that heater issue haha. I have a question and am wondering if you have an old video possibly explaining this. With all the free samples packs etc, with your experience and knowledge what is the best way to set up your organization to not get into a bad hobbit of making a messy library? I used the free abelton for a while prior to buying, and it got super messy with playing around for fun with new sounds and samples, but not im starting fresh I dont want to fall into that trap! If you have a short explanation or a video laying around please let me know!
Great stuff here - as always! The next step would be how to build layers of bass patterns as the one you showed is the basic pattern usually for a 303 like bass. The missing part would be the arpeggio bass line on top as often used in trance music but also in chicago house. Anyway, it is always a pleasure to watch your videos even though I'm into this since house music started.
Nicely done Alana! You make it seem easy, as usual! Would love to hear some actual House music from you, since you clearly know what you are talking about! All the best for 2022!
Really curious of you thoughts around this! I’ve used it for a couple years and have found it helpful. But seems there is a running joke here I’m not aware of?
@STRANJAH The running joke is that it's very lazy to use the chord pack and also it's lazy to sell it. I know educational content is good for the masses, and music theory isn't always accessible but it's just their advertising hurts my heart. it preys on the up and coming trap beat producer teen who can only afford entry level products, and buying midi would be way less useful than than producer getting 1 solid compressor or eq
@STRANJAH drag and drop in fruity loops looks bad, because it seems very simplistic so the commercial reminds people of "two clicks and it's perfect Kyle beats"
Hi stranjah could you do a video on how to make grime bass on serum , like sir spyro , Khan and neek , modern grime basses etc I’m trying to learn serum and how to make these sounds more , also how to make any sound you want etc I still haven’t mastered that yet
Another great video. Figuring these out myself has taken ages and you just nicely summarize them for easy reference. Thanks! I like all genres to learn from so feel free to try anything you want.
@@theoracle7463 breakcore and drill n bass are similar but definitely not the same if you listen to venetian snares and than to squarepusher you will understand
I️ think there is a definite gray area between breakcore and drill n bass. Thing is you’re dealing with very niche genres that people were trying to describe and no big collective group really solidified the terminology, like with house, techno, d&b etc. I’ve seen people use both interchangeably to describe the same song. However whether we’re speaking about Squarepusher, Venetian Snares or Bogdan Raczynski, it’s all dope to me.
Great video as always Stranjah 😎🔥. How about a video about something out of the ordinary? Like combining elements from various genres of bass heavy music. I thought of this when I listened to the "I'm Fine" remix by IMANU from Division it made me realize how much I love hearing neuro sound-design in various genres. He previously made mostly DnB but this song is like a crazy genre mashup of House and Drum and Bass or something and it feels like a breathe of fresh air. Or take Bastion's first EP release that just blew my mind. It's a mishmash of acoustic soul elements with those vocals and guitar combined with a crazy roller drum and bass vibes in the drop. The song is called "Shapes" and I just can't believe how his first EP can be so f@#$ing good🤯. Anyways that's just a bit of rambling from me, cheers and big up man! ~ jungle is massive.
Personally I'm here just for the DnB, especially sound design tutorials. I do produce other genres like melodic, but I find those so easy to produce I'm not really interested in tutorials for them. I wouldn't mind a breakcore tutorial to make music like Venetian Snares and Rotor or industrial hardcore like Satan.
Disappointed that you are promoting unison chord pack stranjah.... you can easily download free versions that are better. This is a scam. I find it hard to believe that you don't know this. I though you were on our side?
@@STRANJAH really nice! I dig the CR-78 and baritone bass sounding thing. Again, very Cure! And great tutorial! I grabbed those chord midi files. I’ve been meaning to create something like that for myself for a looong time.
What genre do you want me to cover next? 😀
Detroit style electro!
Digital dancehall
I would love to see more House videos. But I think all of your content is very interesting.
Would LOVE some HARDCORE
Broken beat
Boooo unison! I can't hit Skip Ad fast enough. Bass patterns were cool tho.
Velocity changes and note lengths also play a big part in writing great bass lines 👍
what free plugins for the sound? slate drugs and mondo?
why the kick sounds like a cymbal or snare?

Thanks good points. Will look into it!
Any links Myk Dubz,I'm always looking to add top bass patterns.
Great video as always buddy. If you could go over GARAGE that would be sweet!
thank you so much! trying to get into new genres!

Awesome thank you so much
Each of the rhythms here can be in turn tuned into many other variations.. thanks for the start up 👍👍

Just drag and drop in whatever DAW you use. 🤦♂️
Tantacrul has a good video about it called "A Laughable Sales Pitch"

Rock on! Keep at it!

It's also an amazing gift that he gives us the .mid files to use as a template. Grabbing these and then modifying them is ev-ery-thing. 🙏
I'm actually more a producer of house and techno than any breakbeat style, so this is gold af. Thanks especially for the midi files. 👍
Yo Stranjah would love to see you do more on House and 4 to the floor sound.
thank you !
can we still get the project file?
15:15 that bassound is WIKKID^^
Why would you team up with people who charge $30 for C minor? Cool rhthms tho.
Thanks a was a great video. Funny, interesting and inspiring! Thanks a lot STRANJAH! 🙏🙏🙏
Shuffle..that’s super funky..🙌
McLovin’ it!! 🍻
What about combining the tech house sound with the 90s rave era vibe and sounds like Martin ikin
Another dope video 👍
Goes without saying really these days... STRANJAH YOU ARE A DON 🙏💚
Please make more UKG turorials ;)
Once I get my SP404, I'm going to pull you saying funky when I bring that funk, so you can guide people to the funk in my tracks
Another nice tutorial, as always. Thank's so much!
Dark basshouse 🤤
Thank you 🥰

Don't let the classic house sound die
Always good videos but could you do breaks/breakbeat ones covering drums and bass lines
Nice BAYC t shirt

STAY AWAY FROM UNISON
You missed all the patterns in the original songs.
I stopped watching as soon as you started promoting Unison chord pack. Imagine paying money for a triad
even from that pesky ad I learned a new keyboard short cut so was totally worth it not to fwd 😝
But bro the DIATONIC CHORDS!🤣
Oh damn! I️ can’t believe you’re right.
Slightly disappointed, I’d like to see their ads go away.
