Tinker Tuesdays rocks
Big thumbs up for Tinker Tuesday and to the good folks at Park tool for sponsoring. I really like that park supports playing with bikes like this.
Super thanks because John Cougar Mellencamp was my first concert ever!
MAAAAAANNNNN, I'd be singing along so heavy.
The song that kick in at 6:19 is killer.
A man after my own heart...too lazy to bleed both brakes! I've even got a coil on my front brake where I couldn't be arsed to cut/bleed it 😂
Noice! Finally received my Spindatt Norton Shirt! Thank you! Your channel was very responsible for me getting my Poseidon Redwood 2 years ago but since have converted it to an ebike! But let's see what my next Poseidon purchase will be!
Amazing! I saw that it delivered in the tracking. Thanks so much!
Good looking bikes! Congratulations on getting to do something on that
Just got my black frame, and it looks amazing, fantastic welds, very clean looking, can't wait to build. Since I'm coming from a 99 Schwinn Homegrown I'm getting everything new except my Advent X drive train, and some modern Race face stem/bars i had . Now I'm trying to find a Fork. Found some 150mm Pike (650b), too much travel?
This video is so chill.
Oh onething, I dig the space, but part of me is stuck in the " in the shed now no more shop... I will get used to it" to now " no more shed cool huge space now? I will get used to it" great video
Awesome! Fun vs Fast sounds sick.
Even with all the colours...the Fast looks...fast and slick
I just bought those exact brakes for my trail bike lol - good to see that you didn't need to bleed
I cheaped out a bit... Getting the 2 pot over the 4....so I'm hoping they do good.
how did you get a comment to show up with no words!
@@Spindatt great question? Idk haha
I like your workspace.
I too, really like it in here!
Can't wait to see the new vid series:)!
Thank you so much Tim!!
I'm hoping I can deliver some entertaining content with FUN vs FAST
@@Spindatt Yay! I have no doubts;).
Very interested in a norton... will the stock fork fit a 29er wheel? Online the fork appears to have plenty of spare space. Frame looks interesting as a possible mullet or 29er depending what you want to build
Great content as always! Bikes are looking dialed!❤
Have you considered shortening the travel on the fox 32 down to 100mm so the geo is more comparable to the production model? When you take sag into account, a 130mm 27.5 fork and wheel is very similar in length to a 100mm 29er fork with its wheel
The 120mm fox was actually about 1/2 to 3/4 inches shorter than the suntour 130mm
Dirty parts need love too!
It’s your bike, so you can ride it dirty. However, maybe the number 1 upgrade to any “fast” bike is tires. The tires on the fast bike have to go. OEM level tires will be slow in all know bike traveling directions.
Thankfully this has some killer Panaracers on it!
Looks fast!
Fast Norton looks full on awsome 🤙🤙such a great fan of a 29ner hardtail with slamed bars looks tasty as
ESI grips? I love those. If another brand other than Wolf, do tell please...
God I love how XC bikes look...
Looking good 😎😎 awesome looking bikes!
Do you know when or how much just the frame will cost?
Will the Norton frame fit a 29 x 2.35 tire? I know it's meant for 27.5 but I have a set of 29" wheels and tires sitting here already.
No it wont
@@Spindatt What size tires does it top off with on 29er wheels? I see Poseidon now has the frames available instead of the full build.
Will donate for long-winded explanations
They shall continue! Thank you so much
Thanks! Awesome video as always! What do you think is the widest 27.5 tire that will fit the rear of the Norton?
Right now I have a 2.6 in there! I would't go any bigger, I'll also be interested to see what effect a wide wide rim has on that fitment.
Thank you for the support!
@@Spindatt Awesome! I have 2.5s to put on mine when it arrives:)
I'm team Fast Norton!
The music you play to avoid getting demonetized is David Cutter right? Is all their stuff royalty free or are they just a bro?
Nope, I use Epidemic sound. There’s a monthly fee but the selection is pretty good
@@Spindatt thanks for the reply
What do you really think about your HUNT Trailwide wheels. Haven't seen them on your show in a while....
Hubs are nice, I wouldn't buy the rim again. I'm way too sketchy while riding and they dented like soft butter so easily.
Thank you for the support!
Love the content!
Thanks!
Thank you so much!
is a frame only option going to be available?
yes
Why is it that they don’t list the standover dimensions on their website?
Is the trifox still up and running?
my brother has it.
You tired? Or did you rub some brake fluid on your eyes? Little redder around the eyes than normal.
Just built up my Norton:

Beautiful matte black. Great job designing this awesome hardtail!
I love Tuesdays
I got free donut after class
I get spindatt video
And went on a bike ride today
I don't know if it can get better today
My brand loyalty ocd compels me to get the white Norton Slx crankset to be installed on the Yellow one for the sake of me.
LOL I personally think cranks are a swappable non group option that can go anywhere
Hiw would this. Ike be with a ridgid fork?
You'd need a long one, I don't know much about MTB rigid fork ATC lengths though
What 29” tire width did you fit?
2.1, but they won’t fit on the production frame cause the chainstay is thicker/stronger
It is a missed opportunity to make a more versatile bike that can take 27.5 or 29” wheels.
@@Spindatt- Hi! So on the production frame, can you not do 29 in the rear at all? on the website it does say 29 inch possible in the back up to a 2.1 inch tire. If that’s not the case I’m going to be really disappointed because I just ordered two really nice 29 inch rims. I also built a 27.5 inch rear rim to try a mullet as well. So I guess it wouldn’t be the end of the world
You need a platform that won’t drive you crazy.
what do you mean?
@@Spindatt it’s a John Cougar Mellencamp reference.
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Teach me to bar😢
404 error on the bike link
Entered dirty bike rule
What does he mean too much money on bikes 🤔
LOL I don't expect to ever learn any lessons from those words either.
THANK YOU SO MUCH
Just gonna say it. Clean your damn bikes.
No
@@Spindatt You tell ‘em 😊
@@Spindatt Well... I tried.. 😁
For 100m of travel and 29 wheels look super slack, look intresting
120mm
